Directions

Take Exit 10 from I-295 heading North. Go about 2.5 miles to the Yorktown base gate on the right. This gate is open 24/7 and doesn't have barriers. After entering the date, continue on Yorktown to Jason. Turn right on Jason toward Birmingham. At the corner of Jason and Birmingham there is a wide gravel pull-out on the left. Park your RV there and go into MWR to register. After registering, turn left on Birmingham, go about a half mile to and turn right on Mustin. RV camp entrance is a couple blocks down Mustin, on your left, next to the Navy Lodge sign. -- NOTE: Check-in is located at the Auto Skills Center office, about one block west of the Mustin Road turn, on the left side of the street.

Manatee Cove RV Park NAS JAX

MWR run/maintained, military facility. Active duty & retirees welcome. For our very first time in our travel trailer, we have had a wonderful experience. Full hook ups with 50/30 amp, sewage & freshwater. Tidy bath house & laundry facilities. Located on the St. John’s River with simple views of the river along side a community pavilion. Very quiet & relaxing environment with thoughtful hosts & friendly neighbors all while having a commissary/exchange/gas station with propane fills only a few blocks away.

Nice military campground.

People keep to themselves at the campground as most are seasonal. As for the amenities; free washer/dryer, bathhouse access, access to military hospital, marina, golf course, commissary, and exchange. The grounds are well kept and it has easy access to the highway. Overall, really enjoyed the stay.
