Brush Creek flows alongside this dispersed campground in White River National Forest, where campers wake to the sound of water over beaver dams and wildlife moving through the valley. The $8 fee covers basic amenities including vault toilets and picnic tables, while firewood comes pre-stocked at most sites. RVs up to 30 feet can navigate the access road, though several reviewers mention rough conditions that require careful driving.

Morning visitors include moose, elk herds, and deer that cross the creek near campsites. Anita A. spotted "squirrels, deer, one moose, skunk, a couple prong horn sheep, eagle" during her stay. The campground host provides security and local knowledge, while a small amphitheater hosts wildlife education programs on Saturday evenings during peak season. ATV traffic on the adjacent road creates some noise during busy periods.

Sites spread across both forested and open terrain, with end-of-loop locations offering more privacy. The creek provides cold-water relief on warm days, and Sylvan Lake Campground — Sylvan Lake State Park sits 20 minutes away for additional recreation options. Fulford Caves and Peter Estin Hut offer nearby exploration opportunities.

Bring a full water supply since none is available on-site, and book early for summer weekends when the combination of accessibility and creek access fills most spots.

Serene landscapes

The night sky was so beautiful. This site was on the end of the road and felt secluded, saw deer and moose in the area. Super pleasant drive to the campsite.

Beautiful and remote campsite

Beautiful campsite with nice views and basic toilets. Got greeted by a moose licking our car in the morning, not something you see everyday either.

Pure magic!

My husband and I stayed 1 night at Yeoman and it was nothing short of wonder, joy and fun! There was a park ranger on site at the time we were there so that provided a sense of security while being more in the back country. The restrooms were abundant and always well stocked with toilet paper. The campsites come stocked with twigs and logs. Brush creek is clear and cool and provided us with the most perfect cold plunge for a warm summer day! We have been to many dispersed camp sites but this one takes the prize!

Excellent camp

We were able to secure a great spot on a hill overlooking the valley. In the morning we were treated to a herd of elk crossing the creek. Easy to get to but out of the way enough it wasn’t crowded. Down side is that the road next to the campground is popular with ATVs.

Wooded Serenity

Totally delighted with our stay here. Well maintained camp sites and gorgeous surroundings. The majority of spots in the camp loop we stay in were full yet it was so calm and quiet at night. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Hidden Gem

Great campground. No electric hook ups. We brought in our 27foot camper and had a spectacular visit. Quiet area. Creek at entrance. Wildlife dept offers educational entertainment on Saturday evenings at their tiny amphitheater. Great for children. Sylvan lake is approx 20 min drive. There is Fulford Caves to explore up the road or Peter Estin hut.
