Six miles northwest of Camp Nelson, this dispersed camping area sits within Sequoia National Forest along a stream corridor accessible by standard vehicles. The Forest Service manages multiple sites here from May through November, with picnic tables and fire rings available when fire restrictions allow.
Campers report spacious sites next to running water, though road conditions vary seasonally due to mud and recent wildfire damage in surrounding areas. Weekend crowds can bring large parties, but weekdays typically remain quiet. No cell service reaches the area. Sites accommodate both tent and RV camping, with dispersed camping near Sequoia National Forest offering additional boondocking throughout the region.
