Marina RV Park

Marina RV Park operates as a drive-in and boat-in facility accommodating RVs up to 45 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The park sits along the Sacramento River in Redding, providing direct water access for guests arriving by boat or those wanting riverside proximity during their stay.

The layout resembles a parking lot configuration with tightly spaced sites that prioritize utility connections over outdoor living space. Multiple reviewers note the compact arrangement, with one describing it as "more a parking lot with hookups" without picnic tables or designated areas for outdoor activities. The facility maintains basic cleanliness standards and includes amenities like restrooms, showers, and WiFi access for guests.

"Very basic sites, on the river," summarizes Kelly S., highlighting both the waterfront location and no-frills approach. Electrical service can be inconsistent, with at least one guest reporting 30-amp connection issues during extreme heat. The park allows pets and accepts reservations, making it accessible for planned stops along Interstate 5.

This facility works best for RV travelers prioritizing river access and full hookups over spacious sites or extensive outdoor amenities. Those seeking overnight convenience while traveling through the region can explore campgrounds near Redding for additional options.

Basic riverfront RV park that many described as a parking lot with hookups. Campers appreciated the river location and friendly hosts, but noted cramped sites, limited amenities, and occasional maintenance issues.

Super Hosts

Very basic sites, on the river. Hosts are super helpful and friendly, great for a short time.

Ants Are the Gift that Keep on Giving

Stayed a single night in transit along I-5. Location reasonably convenient even as the park itself is literally a tightly packed parking lot. Getting into the spot was tricky enough. Park isn’t particularly well maintained nor is the price a bargain. The real kicker though is the ant infestation we received in a single eighteen or so hour stay. Another guest warned us as they had the same experience but after over a year and a half on the road full time, this one night stop has led to serious ant issues in our rig.

Basic Campground

It's basic but a great location on the river. Only issue is that our 30amp had issues, which meant the airconditioning unit could not run continuously in 100 degree heat.

Just a parking lot with hookups

Marina RV park was ok, more a parking lot with hookups. There was a pool as well, it sure it was open though. It was pretty clean and comfortable, just no picnic table or even space outside to hangout.
