Garden Point Boat-in Campground

Tahoe National Forest manages this boat-in campground on Bullards Bar Reservoir, requiring watercraft access to reach the forested sites. The US Forest Service operates Garden Point with basic amenities including campfire rings, and pets are welcome throughout the area. Sites cost $24-$48 per night with reservations available through the standard booking system.

The campground sits near creek and river confluences feeding into the larger lake system, providing direct fishing access from the shoreline. Nearby alternatives include Dark Day Campground and Schoolhouse Campground (CA), both accessible by vehicle. Garden Point works best for campers with boats seeking a more remote lakeside experience away from road-accessible crowds.
