The gravel sites at Bodega Bay RV Park accommodate RVs up to 62 feet with electric and water hookups, though campers need to visit the dump station near the entrance for sewer service. Bret W. notes the spots are "mostly level a little angle downhill so bring some blocks." Staff rake and clean each site after checkout, maintaining the property's well-kept appearance throughout the busy season.
Most sites are pull-through configurations on narrow lots with lattice fencing between neighbors for privacy. The compact layout means limited space remains once RVs are positioned, and sites sit close together without natural views beyond the landscaped trees. A Mexican restaurant and coffee shop operate at the front of the property, with a Saturday farmers market on adjacent land providing weekend activity.
Walking paths from the campground lead toward the Salmon River and beach access, though reviewers describe this as roughly a 30-minute walk each way. The park enforces quiet hours and maintains detailed rules about children's activities, with restrictions on biking and running within the grounds. Several families report feeling the environment works better for adult campers than those traveling with active children.
Cell service varies by carrier, with T-Mobile showing weaker coverage while Verizon performs adequately for remote work needs. WiFi is available but operates at slower speeds. The location provides convenient access to campgrounds near Bodega Bay and sits within walking distance of downtown businesses. Two-night minimum stays are required during peak periods.
This RV park suits travelers prioritizing hookups, cleanliness, and proximity to Bodega Bay's restaurants and harbor over spacious sites or natural settings.
