Pecan Grove RV Park

Just off Highway 65 in Lake Village, Pecan Grove RV Park operates as a roadside stop with concrete pads and full hookups for rigs up to 90 feet. The campground sits directly beside the highway, with Lake Chicot located across the street, though lake views from sites remain limited. Several pull-through spots accommodate larger RVs without requiring unhooking.

The park functions primarily as overnight parking for travelers, with concrete pads providing level parking on most sites. Highway traffic generates consistent noise throughout the day and night. A mix of short-term travelers and long-term residents occupy the sites, with availability typically maintained for passing RVs. Full hookups include 50-amp electric service, and WiFi reaches most areas of the park.

Shawn notes that you "can't see the lake" from the campground itself. A boat dock sits across the highway for those hauling watercraft to Lake Chicot. The Lake Village Welcome Center Rest Area Highway 65 & 278 provides an alternative stop less than half a mile away. Rates run around $37.50 per night for full hookups.

The setup works best for RV travelers needing a convenient highway stop rather than a destination camping experience.

Several campers appreciated the convenient highway location and concrete pull-through sites for overnight stops. Road noise from the adjacent highway was a recurring concern, with mixed feedback on value for the price.

Great Overnight Stop

Stopped for one night while in route to our destination. Easy to book on line, friendly front desk employee. It is off the highway. Much traffic noise pollution, but would certainly stay here again.

Nice stop

Pecan Grove is a nice place to stop on our way home from Florida. There’s several permanent residents but it seems there is always a spot for us to stay for a night. Nice concrete pads in several pull through spots.

Disappointing

Can’t see the lake. Right on the highway so there is lots of noise. Mostly a long-term park where many of the rigs are not in very good shape.

No issues with camp ground, small and on the hwy.... easy to stop in for the night. If you have a boat, nice lake across the street. full hook-up, 50amp pull through sites.

Overnighter

We stayed here one night on our way to Arkansas. $37.50 per night which was high for what you get. Sites were level enough that we didn’t unhook. Stayed here in a 29’ travel trailer. FHU.
