With reservations available and nightly rates from $25-$45, Camp Saguaro operates as a private campground accessible by drive-in, hike-in, or walk-in options. The property sits in Cortaro, offering both individual site fire pits and a community fire area for evening gatherings.

Hosts Leslie and Mark maintain the grounds with attention to detail, as multiple campers note the consistently clean bathrooms and hot showers. The landscaping incorporates desert plants, and several sites feature unique touches like adobe structures and hummingbird feeders. "Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, no generators, beautiful landscaping and private sites," reports Laura V.. Sites accommodate various RV sizes, though some spots like Lovey Dovey can be tight for taller or longer rigs.

The on-site mercantile stocks locally made art and camping supplies. Laundry facilities and dish washing stations add convenience for extended stays. Pet-friendly policies welcome four-legged companions throughout the property. The location provides easy access to Saguaro National Park West and Tucson Mountain Park, both within a few miles' drive. Campers seeking additional desert camping can explore Pipeline BLM less than a mile away.

Cell service reaches the campground, and firewood is available for purchase on-site.

Desert oasis. 100% recommend

We loved Camp Saguaro so much our one-night stay turned into three! Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, no generators, beautiful landscaping and private sites. Also a birding paradise! We stayed at the Magical Mushroom and enjoyed the flat space to park our minivan, table and chairs, fire pit, and the adobe mushroom for hanging out. Camp hosts Leslie and Mark were kind and take great care of the property. Pristine bathrooms and hot showers! The mercantile is stocked for locally made art and sundries. Only a few miles drive to Saguaro NP West, Tucson Mt Park, and the Museum. We highly recommend this unique desert oasis & hope to return on our next SW roadtrip.

A rustic luxury campsite in the desert

The camp hosts greeted me when pulled to make sure I had the right campsite, although it wasn’t needed as the instructions in the message were spot on. The hosts gave me a tour ending with the surprise gift shop. It was a delight.

The shower, toilets, kitchen and common areas were spotless.

They allow pets and so I’ll be back with the pup.

Clean, quiet, charming

The owner and host are friendly and helpful. They have nice hot showers, laundry facilities, dish washing stations, and fire rings. My spot had a hummingbird feeder. Would stay here again!

Cute Cozy Camp

The hosts are lovely and the mercantile is adorable. The grounds are exceptionally well kept and everything is clean and tidy. There is a community fire pit for campers to enjoy together or fire pits at each site to enjoy on your own. Showers, restroom, laundry, and water! Lovey Dovey was a little tight for my 9.5 Ft tall 21 Ft long campervan but it was a wonderful spot. I think all the spots might be nice though!
