Young Lake (north) Cabin

This Forest Service cabin sits on the shores of Young Lake within forested terrain that includes both open areas and dense tree cover. The $35 nightly rate includes campfire privileges and pet access, though the rough access road requires careful navigation. RVs cannot access this drive-in site due to size restrictions.

Fishing opportunities draw visitors to the lake, while the nearby creek adds to the water access options. The Young Lake (south) Cabin provides an alternative just over a mile away for those seeking similar lakefront accommodations. Reservations help secure this cabin-style camping experience for those comfortable with challenging road conditions and seeking a forested lakeside base camp.

Fee Info

Only one change per reservation for all Alaska cabins is allowed. Change is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation; after one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the current reservation and re- book the new dates.
