Heritage Acres RV Park

Heritage Acres RV Park occupies open terrain in Tuscumbia, Alabama, where concrete pads and gravel sites create a developed camping environment. The park operates year-round with full hookups for RVs, though campers note the access road can present challenges.

Premium sites feature level concrete pads with dual sewer connections, bistro tables alongside standard picnic tables, and fire pits. These sites receive consistently higher marks from visitors compared to standard gravel spots. Richard S. found his premium pull-through pad "within 1/4" of level" during his stay. The park includes a splash area for children, pool table in the office store, and a resident macaw named Paco.

The campground draws a mix of overnight travelers and long-term residents, with reviews suggesting the premium sites offer a notably different experience from the standard gravel areas. Bathrooms feature large showers and are kept clean according to recent visitors. WiFi service receives mixed reports, with some campers finding speeds insufficient for streaming or work needs.

"Everything is clean and new and the bathrooms are amazing," notes emily A.. The park works well for RV travelers seeking full hookups and concrete pads, particularly those able to secure premium sites. Nearby McFarland Park Campground provides an alternative for campers preferring a more natural setting.

A nice surprise!

We checked into this campsite after a disastrous experience and the previous one that we were already checked into. We stayed in a premium site which was level with a concrete pad, a cute little bistro table and a picnic table. The gravel was nicely manicured the concrete pad was pristine and the area surrounding the camp was beautiful. There were some new plantings around the park it was mowed and manicured and we were very happy with our stay. In reviewing other people’s comments it appears that those that stay in premium sites have a better experience, but this is a great spot for an overnight or a quiet stay. There weren’t a lot of kids here but the splash park is better than most kids play areas. The price for the premium sites was very good. I hate to say it, I don’t want them to raise the prices. We left a park (after we checked in)’and drove into this park with beautiful quartz lighting (must have been a fortune) and felt like I hit Nirvana.

Not a destination.

Basically a big gravel parking lot. Feels like it's 90% full timers. WiFi was too slow to do anything at all. The premium sites are pretty nice, but if you can't get one of those, you're just staying in a parking lot with hookups.

Up and coming RV park!

This RV park was still heavily under construction while we were there. In fact, I believe we were the first people to stay in our spot, a premium pull through. The playground was in the process of being completed and the game room wasn't functional yet but you can tell the owners are investing a lot of time and money!

The concrete pad was within 1/4" of level and even had two sewer connections. Included in the premium site was a nice picnic table and a smaller two person table, fire pit, and nice large marble lighting.
