Florala City Park

Kayakers and anglers find direct water access at Florala City Park, where half the sites sit directly on Lake Jackson's shoreline. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with full hookups available for RVs up to 80 feet. Site #7 puts campers right at the docks for easy boat launching.

The waterfront sites command premium pricing but deliver sunset views across the lake. Non-waterfront sites back up to trees and still maintain lake views. Clean restrooms and hot showers serve both camping areas, with a laundry facility available on-site. The campground connects to Florala State Park's walking trail system, which extends several miles around portions of the lake and includes swimming areas and playground stops.

"Pay the extra for waterfront sites, the sunset is worth it," advises Kasey M.. The park accepts cash or check payments at the front building, and campers can call ahead for reservations. A mile walk leads into downtown Florala for supplies. Pets are welcome throughout the campground.

Campers seeking additional options can explore campsites around Florala State Park, or consider Lake City Campground four miles east for a different lakeside experience.

Beautiful!

Great little campground. Several miles of walking paths around (part of) lake. Walk into town is about a mile. Half the sites are on the water, other half backs to trees. Full hook ups, good restroom/shower. First come, pay at the front building.

Beautiful campground

We spent one night in a non waterfront site. Still had a great view of the lake. Clean restrooms and hot showers. Pay cash it check only. Call in advance for reservations and to confirm availability. I grew up in the area and have been to Lake Jackson many times as a kid. Nice walking trail around part of the lake.

Best little Jem around

Adorable little find! We’ve really enjoyed our stay here, as you can see our rig was in site #7 right at the docks. We put our kayaks in and paddled, we enjoyed sunsets by the lake in our hammocks, and we fished. Also it’s connected to the walking trail of Florala state park which has a swimming area and multiple playground stops. Pay the extra for waterfront sites, the sunset is worth it. Also sites are first come first serve.

There is laundry, bath house, playground, and more!

Best place

My brother and I stayed here in April, very well maintained, showers and restrooms were clean, they even have a laundry room, one of the better campgrounds I have stayed at,and you have a nice view of the lake that you can swim in! One of the things we both liked was that it was not noisy at night no loud groups or parties after a reasonable time of night. Would definitely visit again!
