A-Okay RV Park

A-Okay RV Park accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups and pull-through sites on both 30 and 50 amp service. Located in Dothan, the park offers monthly rates that draw long-term residents alongside overnight travelers. Sites include both shaded and sunny options, with management available around the clock.

The park sits near a lake and provides standard RV amenities including restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and WiFi access. An on-site ATM and propane filling station add convenience for travelers. Rob D. notes "outstanding monthly rates" and mentions the "lowest price I've seen for FULL tanks" when referring to propane service. The area features multiple trail access points within the region.

Traffic from long-term residents creates activity near the entrance, where some overnight guests report being placed during busy periods like local festivals. A new bathhouse is currently under construction to replace existing facilities. The park serves as a staging point for exploring Dothan's attractions and accessing nearby recreational trails.

Reservations are accepted for both short and extended stays. Pets are welcome throughout the property, making this a practical base for travelers needing full services and flexible stay options.

Many campers appreciated the full hookups, competitive rates, and welcoming owners. Some visitors reported traffic noise from live-in residents, but most found it suitable for stays ranging from overnight to extended periods.

Good for either long term or short weekend

Stayed for 2 nights during the Peanut Festival. Not a lot of amenities, but full hookup. Was placed at the entrance to the park, so lots of traffic from all of the live ins.

A-Okay RV...

I booked a short 3 day lay over here on the first leg of my coast to coast journey out of Florida. I stayed 6 weeks. Dolthan is a nice town. Everything you need with some local flavor mixed in. Half dozen trail heads in the area. I hiked 3 well kept paths. Forever Wild is mostly a cross country biker park, mostly. With 6 or 7 or more different runs. You could plan a trip around this park alone if biken is your thang. A-Okay RV... outstanding monthly rates and if you ever find yourself here for even a night, be sure to top off your propane. The lowest price I've seen for FULL tanks. The owners are very pleasant and do what they can to make you feel welcome. Ask one of them about their Texas Longhorns. A day, week, month or more, you cant go wrong here.
