Friendly staff~Good location
Check in process easy and friendly! Bathrooms and showers clean and warm!
Thank you for sharing your friendly feedback, Kris. Our team is delighted to hear your visit was easy and comfortable. We hope you return for more Cannon Beach fun in the future!
Great place to stay!
We loved our stay. Nice quite tree filled park just east of 101. Short walk to the south end of town and the beach where Haystack Rock is. Sites are a little cozy with the neighbors but many like ours have grassy areas to the rear to give you a little more room. Lots of pull through sites for larger rigs.
Derek, thank you for your detailed review and for highlighting our convenient location and abundant site options. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Thanks again!
Cannon Beach
Great time, despite the rain! Bathrooms were super clean and people were friendly. There is a great little hike/walk where you can take your dog just up the hill from the campground. Super pretty! Not far from Cannon Beach, maybe 4 minute drive. Definitely worth the stop!
*Thank you for your visit and your great review Rowan! We're happy the rain didn't dampen the fun and really glad you and your dog enjoyed exploring our area. We hope to welcome you for another visit soon, thanks again! *
Comfortable campsite
It has everything! Warm water, electricity, WiFi. It’s not the best looking or most adventurous campsite but we needed a hot shower ;-)

So glad you enjoyed a comfortable visit, thank you Hilde! We hope you visit again when you're in our area - Happy trails until then!
Very comfortable spot
We were definitely the smallest rig staying here, with our little teardrop camper, but we still loved it here! The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Didn't experience the pool or any other amenities during our stay. The weather was also pretty foul, so the campground was pretty much silent during our time here. The only sort of privacy between spots comes from the walls of RVs lined up. The spots are all very close, but it's still a lovely place with nice trees. The resort is a longish walk or just a very short drive from the beach.
Indoor pool was great!
Close to Cannon Beach, but not as close as I was expecting. The indoor pool was exactly what we were looking for. My kids had a blast. The basketball court and game room was a bit worn down, but my kids still enjoyed them. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of wilderness, privacy. RV park is right next to houses. I was hoping for more trails to walk our dog. The bathroom was clean. The store was not very well stocked. It was very convenient that they sell propane and gas though. Not sure if we’d stay again, but it was a nice two night getaway.
Walking distance to the beach!
We really enjoyed our stay here! A short walk to town and the beach was a plus! We will be back for sure!
Walk to Haystack Rock
Clean, quiet, safe, well maintained. Walk to everything Cannon Beach. Indoor pool and hot tub, gas and propane sold onsite. Friendly staff. Tall trees, elk and the coast. What more do you need?

Very comfortable, good location
We stayed one night(site 46), easy back-in and we were the only ones in the circle so we had plenty of privacy. Used the spa, lovely after a long drive. The staff was very friendly and it was nice to be able to get propane and diesel(at a relatively good price). Very pretty park with lots of trees. Very little road noise.
The herd of elks were grazing outside the entrance area - got to watch two young bulls have a bit of a tussle.
Close to town, has pool!
Great pool / hot tub, nice setting in woods. Good Wi-Fi. Great folks here!
Location!
Great location!!
Clean, close to town, friendly staff
Great campground and $20 cheaper than the other option I found in Cannon Beach. Full hook-ups. No tents allowed. Paved spots with surrounding grass and lots of trees. 10-15 minute walk to the South end of town, a bit longer to get down to the boutique shopping and more dining. 15 minute drive to Ecola State Park with great view points, hiking trails and a beach where surfers frequent. 2.5 mile Clatsop Loop was beautiful. Loved the large expansive beaches. Found easy parking at Tolovana Beach.
Cannon in a Coleman
Cannon RV park was real nice. 10 minute walk to town and the beach. Not sure if it was Covid but the bathroom near us was closed and the others had weird hours. 10-6. Though It was nice to take a warm shower in a large shower after a week + in our little Coleman 19’ trailer. Also was nice to do laundry too. $2.50 for wash and $2.50 for dry. About ten minutes to Seaside if you are looking to catch some waves.
Clean wonderful and nice place to camp
We had a splendid time here. Sites had lots of trees and grass, power and water were great. Staff was delightful. Added bonus, propane and diesel on site. A new favorite for sure!
Pool hot tub walkable town
Cool campground. There’s a pool and spa. There’s also a lodge with a game room and laundry. Full hookups. Paved loop for kids and bikes. We visited during COVID so a lot of stuff was limited to reservation or closed. It was still nice. Great proximity to town.
Just what the DR Ordered
We stayed away from our coastal communities during the first year of the pandemic, but now we wanted to get back and support our home away from home.
It was our first time staying here, the park is amazing! The staff is great and friendly, sure things are different with the given situation, but it is what it is and we will make the best of it. Sites were clean, power boxes newer and not unsafe, and you’re in walking distance via a paved path to down town, and a short walk to the beach. Pool was open with reservations and while a inconvenience, it was amazingly perfect to have the place to our self.
Thank you guys for doing so well and keeping things going and open.
Walk to Haystack Rock
Just east of Hwy 101 in Cannon Beach, this RV resort is an easy (really!) 10 minute walk to the beach, just north of Haystack Rock. A sidewalk underpass under 101 and a path through a small city park makes it a family-friendly, dog-friendly walk to the outstanding beach sunsets. A bit longer walk (or easy bike ride) takes you into the heart of Cannon Beach with all the restaurants, ice cream shops, galleries, coffee shops and candy stores. Campground is open year round, has full hook-ups, good wifi, well managed and maintained, has an indoor pool and hot tub (pool facility was closed during covid, check on availability) decent bath houses (also closed during covid), nice sites with lots of tall trees. They also sell propane, firewood and have a gas station. (And they even have an electric car charging station, if you need it) Fun fact: In the winter months you will likely see the local elk herd around town. Note: no tents allowed and our ATT service only has one bar at our site. Would definitely recommend this place for RV camping.
Great family campground with close access to beach.
We stay here often. Easy to get to from our home on the west side of Portland. Friendly staff, clean restrooms ( not open recently due to COVID) and other facilities.
Walk to beach, coffee and restaurants if desired. Wonderful coffee at Sleepy Monk Roasters! Wayfarer is a great restaurant and they deliver to the park. Nice short hike on beach into main part of Cannon Beach for many more restaurants, and shops.
Central place to stay for access to Ecola State park to the North and Oswald State park and Beach to the south for hikes trail.
Incredible spot near breathtaking views
We originally booked one night thinking we were just going to pass through before heading back into the city (Portland) so that I could work easily the whole week (Monday-Friday). We got in about an hour before sunset and decided to just unhook the truck and head straight to the beach without unpacking (we full time).
The views of haystack rock in the fog provided beautiful colors against the choppy water. We went to Ecola state park the next day and it didn’t disappoint at all. Sunset provided some exceptional photography with just an iPhone X.
We decided to stay for the whole week since the WiFi has been decent (2-5Mb) with no real latency or packet loss. I use a router to repeat the campgrounds network with our same WiFi name that our devices always connect to, and allows us to all use a VPN without having to install anything. So far our service has been good, and the campground is very quite except for the waves across the street. Since the campground is up on a small hill, the sounds of the ocean aren’t obstructed like when you’re down in town.
So far we’ve only tried Sleepy Monk coffee, but it was also very good! The coffee was very strong and had great flavor, not weak. The salmon bagels were fresh, and the donuts were basic but good.
I will update after our stay ends.

Location location
Cannon Beach is a great spot to spend some time. This resort is a 5 minute drive to the beach. Happily, there is an underpass to get to town without having to cross the 101.
This resort is very nice. The power was rock solid. There is free WiFi that works great early in the day but slows to a crawl at night. ATT reception is very limited.
Our only complaint was the lay out. Good angles for backing in. However, inner loops you have a neighbor front, back and sides. You can hear too much because they are fairly close. This place stays fairly full so reserve in advance to get an outer spot.
Bird migration spring through early summer is a highlight. Haystack rock is picturesque and volunteers can point out highlights. Don’t forget low tide for tidepooling. Supplies are plentiful in Seaside which is 30 minutes away. There are also gas pumps at the resort.
Close to the beach and well maintained
We loved this campground so much that we extended our stay and were there for 10 days. Really well maintained and just 10 minutes away from the beach in Cannon Beach, it is a lovely walk from the campground to town and to the beach. The staff is very friendly, the campground clean and sites with full hook ups. There are trees everywhere and it provides shade for portion of the day to the campsites. They have great WiFi. I needed because I am on the road, working remotely. I have a lot of teams and zoom Video calls and the connection was great! There is a great hike at Ecola park which is accessible by the road where the campground is located. The laundry is open and only one person is allowed at a time due to Covid-19 and they have to sanitize it after each person uses the facility. Really great to see them following CDC guidelines and keeping the facility sanitizes. The bathrooms, pool and spa were closed due to Covid-19 and you had to be self contained to be able to be there. We had a great time and we will stay there when we go back to Cannon Beach, which has a special place in our hearts. For those who do not know Cannon Beach, that’s where the haystack from goonies is located. The house from Goonies is in Astoria, which is about 35-40 min from Cannon Beach. Great scenic drive when you go south of cannon beach. Oswald State Park is a great hike and you can finish with a walk on the beach. Manzanita is a beach town cute town close by. Keep driving south and go get some fish and chips at Riverside Fish & Chips in Nehalem, cute little town-the food truck is behind a building, by a lake. Keep going south...and you can go crabbing. It was our first time and it was super fun. Got dogs??? Oregon is very dog friendly, which we love because we have two dogs - which we consider our kids! Lots do do in the area! Worth the stay!

Perfect spot to camp with an indoor pool
Close to town biking or walking. Nice well kept grounds. Cable tv hookups WiFi (although not very robust) Ethernet jacks at power posts, so you could make your own WiFi I guess. Great spot for camping and working. Nice friendly staff. It has the only gas station in town also has air and propane stations.

Cannon Beach Glamping
This is a really nice RV Resort right in the middle of Cannon Beach. You almost don’t feel like you’re camping. With an indoor pool, jungle gym for kids, basketball court and of course the beach down the street what more could you want. Safe, clean and a beautiful area to be in.
