One of the best State Parks
This park has a lot of great RV spots. Plenty have back ins that are very private and puts you right into the trees. Ours was a long back in, with 2 others all in a row. This was adequate, but I would select another site next time. An easy walk down to the beach. Sandland Adventures is a few miles down the road in the event you would like to explore the sand dunes in a Dune Buggy or Sand Rail. I would return gladly.

Close to the beach
Camp hosts were very nice. Site was plenty big for my medium pickup. Had access to water, electricity, picnic table, and firepit. Not far from my site was a public day area with views out onto the beach and ocean. Showers are shared with the public toilets. Only 2 showers in the men’s restroom. Firewood was available and they would deliver it to your site. Highly recommend you also visit Mo’s in Florence and try some clam chowder!

Great spot and you don't even have to leave town
Harbor Vista is right as you begin to leave Florence headed north. It's more in town than out of town but has a very "in the wilderness" feel. It's very quiet and set off the main hwy about a mile. The spots are very accommodating with partial and full hook-ups. Large enough for a 40' with room for your car as well. Picnic tables and fire pits in every space. This is one of our go to spots most of the year. Summer time is sometimes hard to get a spot, but the off season is usually fairly easy. As far as cell service goes, T-mobile is very poor pretty much everywhere in the Campground except up by the camp host and restrooms.
Quiet and secluded sites
My wife and I took our new camper for our first trip. We spent two nights. Found the park to be quiet. The sites all have lots of native vegetation that gives each site a secluded feel. Recommend staying here.
Great Seaside Campground!
Love the coastal Oregon state campgrounds! Great use of vegetation to make you feel like you have lots of privacy! Cute newer cabins for rent here. Clean bathrooms.
Good space between sites
Camped here with family in trailor and tent. Most sites do have a small are for a tent as well as a RV. Sites are pretty private due to the vegetation and trees. Nice playground for the kids and beach access at south end of park, although it is steep in some areas. Close to the city of Florence for shopping.
Beautiful little park
This is a well thought through beautiful park with great views. Each campsite is very secluded with bushes and trees all around. There’s a longer
hike to the beach (under a mile) and a shorter hike leading down to the river. We were there mid week so it was not very crowded.
RV/Trailer Campground
This campground main use is for RV’s and Trailers. There is not much room for tents here. Other than that it is a beautiful campground and very maintained. Has beach access at the end of the campground.
Not for tent campers
Space 22 is not ideal for tent campers and looks like the park is more so for RVs/trailers. Picture a concrete driveway with a 10x10 area next to it with a picnic table. There are creaky old rotten trees waiting to fall on the campers below and need to be removed. On the bright side, lane county parks was out there painting new road signs today.
I booked two nights here, pulled up and sat in the campsite for about 10 minutes before I noped the heck out of there.
Would stay here again.
The RV campsites are amazing. They are what you want for a RV site. Secluded, dog friendly and a trail to walk to the beach. I would stay here again. $80 for two nights in November.
Great County Park
Great county park campground. The sites a pretty private. Lots of trees around each site to block the wind. Super clean campground. Great location with a nice hike down to the beach.
Great location, amenities included, safe, variety sites
This campground is a gem in the middle of the Oregon coast. Great location to go south towards dunes, or north towards beaches, hikes, and more. More of an Rv friendly site and higher priced than campsites per night- (30-35$) but easy coastal access down the road, great sunset views, park like atmosphere, FREE HOT SHOWERS!, and safety are worth it.
Nice county park campground !
-Close to lots of hiking in the area -Working with camp hosts was easy. Money drop box or can use card with host (just call ahead) -Tent spots have room for car next to your area. Extra cars are an extra fee. Sites have a fire pit with grate and a picnic table. -Trash / recycling on site. -Close to town-campground sells firewood -It is what you would expect from a county park camping ground in terms of layout. You will feel safe here, shower/bathroom amenities, and kind hosts. Short walk to the bay and about mile down road / or walk along the bay to the open ocean !
Great views!
Smaller campground, and very clean (aside from the sand!). My kiddo & I consider this a favorite since it’s got some great views, and swingset (priorities, you know!).
