Camp Carlson Army RV Park

Located just minutes from the heart of Fort Knox, Camp Carlson Army Recreational Area is the perfect setting for a relaxing escape for your family, Unit or organization. Our property spans 65 acres of natural beauty, with a 25 acre lake that catfish, bluegill, crappie, and bass all call home. Camp Carlson can provide the peace and tranquility only nature brings, so plan your next getaway with us.

We serve all Active Duty Military, Retired Military, National Guard, Reserves, DoD civilians and their Families.

Tent Camping sites have a stay limit of 90 consecutive days between April 1 and September 30. Customers reaching 90 consecutive days must depart for 72 hours.

Camp Carlson has ten furnished Family Cabins all equipped with a bathroom, refrigerator, stove, beds, kitchen table, chairs and a living room. Additionally, dishes, glasses, silverware, a coffee maker, pots and pans are furnished by the campground. Guest must furnish their own linens (sheets, towels, blankets, wash rags, & pillows). Family cabins have satellite TV service. Sorry, no pets allowed.
