Convenient to Sacramento
The most remarkable thing about SacWest RV park is how convenient it is to the major roads crossing Sacramento, yet you don't hear the freeway noise much at all. There are tons of restaurant, fuel and grocery options nearby. We were only here for 3 nights, but it suited our needs just fine. Nice showers, too!
Everything we need
We have everything we need here; FHU, laundry, clean showers and bathrooms, great dog park, friendly staff. They pick up trash. Sites are pull- through, gravel and fairly level. Sites are close, but it wasn’t too crowded while we were here.
Great little city outskirts getaway.
Great little campsite with a 50s vibe right outside the city of Sacramento. The bathrooms and showers are clean the staff are friendly and helpful. There are restaurants close by as well as my favorite gas station Mavericks. There's a great little dog run for our dogs. We came here because we were evacuated due to the mosquito fire, but enjoyed it so muvh. We will definitely be back again.

SacWest campground
Called at the last minute and got a campsite. Came in late and the staff left an envelope with all the important info so no problem finding my pull through site
A cute stay in the city
We stayed here on our first foray into van camping. We were so surprised how clean the restrooms were. So far its been the best we’ve seen. My dog loved the off leash dog park. I waited until there was no one around because she’s a little skittish. Would recommend!
Decent city camping
Right off the freeway - easy access to the city. We didn’t book ahead much and ended up with a site that just had rocks and a picnic table. No grass except at tent sites. Not wide enough to fully put out slider. The bathroom were great in the tent area. Nice pool and dog area.
Perfect for what it is.
Perfect for what it is which is a basic parking lot RV park. The amenities are pretty great, lovely pool, petting zoo and my favorite the fenced dog park. Oh and they have a dog wash with leash clip!!! So many parks miss the opportunity for dog friendly features. They have the cleanest bathrooms i have ever experienced at an RV park.
My only disappointment was the wifi connection specifically in communal spaces close to the office where it makes sense to have strong connection. Their rec room would be a perfect place to hey some work done if only the wifi was powerful enough. Since i was working on the road I was specifically in need of this amenity. I heard certain RV spots had great reception but unfortunately not ours.
City stop
Camp site is clean. You can order food and they will deliver. Wonderful ada bathroom/showers with a fold down bench. Friendly staff. Near freeway (lots of traffic noise. Quiet morning. Stayed for a quick night. The cabins and rv section are top notch. Tent sites are ok. If we come back will choose site 10 of 12. River was dry in july
We LOVED this campground!
This was truly a gem to find after leaving Lake Tahoe early to avoid the incoming storm. We’d planned to only stopover one night but extended our stay. It was clean, had friendly staff, and a wonderful dog park. We will be back.
Serene and full of fowls

Lovely river park
One of the better parks I've visited but for the money I was still disappointed in what is offered. I parked in the back along the river which was ideal with grassy spots along the river and campfire spots to use. If it wouldn't have been so expensive and so many kids here, I would have stayed a lot longer.

Great stop in the city
Lots of pull through spots. Hood showers. Loved the pool. Had pizza delivered right to the spot.
