Silver Springs Campground

Great location close to the Sunrise entrance. Had all we needed although the restroom service was sorely wanting some maintenance. Water fill was possible, no dump

This is a really nice place with great spacing between sites and lots of privacy. The campground is especially well maintained by a young couple who work very hard to keep the place neat and clean. I arrived late in peak season without a reservation and they still found me a site for the night.  The campground is in a beautiful setting next to the White River(it is more greige than white due to glacial milk) and a short distance to the entrance to Mount Ranier NP. The inside of the northern loop is like a park setting with walking trails, streams, and bridges. Loved it. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are in great shape.

The campground is incredibly spacious. Every site seemed to have plenty of space and was far enough from the other sites that we felt like we had plenty of privacy. Our site - 31 - was on the "smaller" side but was still large enough for two large tents (4 and 6 person) and still plenty of space for our kids to play and run around. The two toilets on the upper loops are flush toilets while it seemed the ones on the lower loops were all pit toilets. I really appreciated how quiet it was there. There is some road noise, but it wasn't too distracting for us. We will definitely be back.

This is my new favorite spot to camp in Washington. The spaces are well distributed, the location right next to the river is beautiful and the site staff were extremely gracious. I’d strongly recommend picking a number between 2 and 10 as those are the closest sights to the river if you’re looking to enjoy the sounds of the water. There is also a full bathroom at around the mid 20s if you’d prefer a functional toilet system.

We loved it! 4 stars because the upper loop sites where we stayed did not have much foliage privacy at all. Bathrooms were clean, no pesky animals, hosts were nice, great location. Very dog friendly, we brought our pup. There are some gorgeous springs and mini-waterfalls along the lower loop roads.

We went in the first week the campground was open in June during the week, lots of sites were open/empty.

If you can, reserve a site in the lower loop closer to the river. The sites there have more space and privacy.

We have camped here quite often over the years. It is a fairly large campground with some really good sites. We always try to get in the river loop sites 35-42 to avoid the road noise from Highway 410. For a family or large group try to reserve 39, 40, 41, 42. It is like having your own campground. Site 39 is the only pull through site in this loop. There are other real nice spots but these are first come first serve. There are several flush toilet bathrooms but most are pit toilets. There are no showers. There is good hiking along the river from the campground. Like most campgrounds in Washington by Sunday afternoon the campground is empty. For your best camping experience here camp Sunday through Wednesday.

Huge campsites, some on the river, clean bathrooms, very quiet and peaceful, paved throughout

We booked this about a month in advance. Love that it’s close to home. Gorgeous surroundings. Quiet, the campground was full but you’d never know it. There is a nice little hike and super cool river spots you can access. The kids had fun riding bikes around.

Downfalls:: We had site 16 and it was tiny, there wasn’t even a tent pad. The bathrooms were pretty far away. There is absolutely no cell service.

We made reservations here 9/3-9/5. We had a dry camping, asphalt parking site next to the restrooms at the end of the loop (near the camp hosts). It was very quiet here and the area is just beautiful.

The roads through this campground are a bit tight and have a few low-hanging trees, so be aware if you have a larger rig. Our 32’ fifth wheel was fine but I wouldn’t want to go much longer than that.

There are plenty of hiking, fishing, and sight-seeing available in the area. This campground was a great jumping-off point for visiting nearby Mount Rainier National Park.

The campground has both dry camping and water/electric hookups, but no dump station. Flush toilets and pit toilets were located in the campground; the flush toilets we were next to were clean. There are several water spigots scattered throughout the dry camping loop, although they weren’t threaded so we couldn’t run a hose to them. Washing dishes at the spigots and in the restrooms was discouraged.

Nearby Enumclaw had everything we needed. The drive through the forest to get there was nice and we spotted several moose in the trees.

Verizon signal was spotty.

Beautiful campground,lots of trees and clean bathrooms.No showers on site but we found the fairgrounds in Enumclaw offers showers for a fee.Just go into the campground there and talk to the host

I reserved a site for my rooftop tent but discovered on arrival that the parking spot looped next to the site rather than backing in. Fortunately the campground was fairly empty (June 14, 2018), and the camp host let me switch to a more car-camp-accommodating site. Flush toilets were a treat. Lovely site, lots of big shady trees.

Beautiful campsite. We tent camped at site 36 - and it was great! We were able to reserve the spot online months in advance which was nice. It was a spacious site and we only had one other camp site next to us and there was lots of space and privacy between us and the other sides were forest and river. The nearest restroom to site 36 is a vault toilet (which was very clean and filled with air fresheners!) but the nicer restrooms with flush toilets and warm running water is just a short walk away. I was surprised we could hear some traffic from our site with being so close to the river but it wasn’t that bad. The park hosts were very friendly and helpful - always driving around with firewood for sale and keeping the bathrooms clean and stocked. As we drove through the campground I did feel that the other sites that weren’t on the river were very small and close together with little privacy - the ones along the river are definitely the ones to try and grab! The river was beautiful and the feeling of being nestled in the mountains and trees was very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this campground.

This is a decent campground. you can drive right in. $20 per night. There is an odd thing, if you book for a few nights, you can't just set up your tent and not be there that night. There is also a picnic area. The campground is located right near a main road, but since it's going up to Mount Rainier, it was pretty quiet. It is located near the White River, which is nice. There is running water, the bathrooms are nice. No showers. Lots of sites.

We liked the spots right near the river, and this campground is right outside of Mt. Rainier National Park, so there's plenty to do nearby.
