Nice little state park
This is a small state park on Bainbridge Island with rocky beaches of Peget Sound. Sites are fairly close and bathrooms are typical of older state parks. Lots of space to fly kites and walk. This has a lot of day use by the community. We would go again.
Stunning views and beach
I stayed on a Friday night and there was only 2 other sites occupied. The beach is beautiful, rocky and sandy - love the pnw beaches. The bathrooms were fine and heard someone showering but didn’t use them myself. The campsites are pretty tight so I’m sure in the summer months it gets noisy. There are neighbors to the south of the park and we were right on their property line but there’s a fence and bushes so doesn’t feel like an issue. It was so nice we’re going back in a few months. Site 1 seems to be booked out, but I hope to stay there sometime, it’s right on the beach. We were in site 3 and it was just a bit of a farther walk. I’m semi-disabled and was able to take my chair around and out to the sand in the little boardwalk. Overall great stay for winter camping! If you’re trying to arrive in less than 10 days, they don’t allow you to book online but you can call the aquatic center and they’re very helpful in telling you what availability they have. 206-842-2302

Urban style campground
Overall pretty great! Gorgeous views of the sound!! Price was perfect. The location was ideal for me as a stop off before the Olympics. I was able to load up on supplies and ready my gear. My tent campsite was generously sized, had a picnic table and a fire ring. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. The campground was loud BUT it was fully of happy campers so it’s hard to be mad about that. Second was the toilet for the campground was out of order so they brought in a biffy. The biffy was gross and not well maintained.
Beautiful and convenient
This is a convenient location for 🚲 who just arrived to the island. Easy pay station any time of day and the 🌊 view is beautiful
Stunning beachside sites and sunrise views
Utility site #1 flanks the beach and is probably best in the place. #2, #3, #4 are IMO best after that as they move away from the beach and then curve around in ascending order.
Some neighbor noise, sites are close, but was not busy. Plenty of first come first serve spots available in off-season. Tent sites are up on the hill shrowded in trees, so more shelter but fewer views. Depends on what you're after.
T-mobile 5G: solid, 3bars, 50-80mbps
ATT LTE: similar.
Listen for owls, watch for fishermen crawlers in the AM.
Beautiful and fun but tight sites
We had a blast at Fay Bainbridge. There was tons to do for our toddler, and lots of opportunities for us to enjoy the part too. The views are incredible and beautiful is beautiful. Our only complaint is the campsites are VERY close together. We are thankful so many people can enjoy the beautiful location, but you can hear everything around you. The camp host was lovely and the condition of everything in the park was great. Addressing prior reviews: During our visit, the showers were open.) There are no sewer hookups anymore.

Great for tent camping!
I loved my experience! I stayed in spot #40. Plenty of privacy in that spot although the others are more open space camping. I love the beach area and the park for kids! Such a special little spot. I had a great time - me and my 2 year old stayed one night.

Kid friendly
Amazing kids area pirate ship. Great beach walk and good camp sites. Be prepared for showers to be closed but the restrooms were open. Can’t beat the views.

Right by the beach
Great spot on the edge of bainbridge. Lots of spots depending on your preferred privacy level. Right by the beach with volleyball courts, a covered rec area, kids jungle gym, and (relatively) clean bathrooms. Far enough from the main area of bainbridge island for some quiet, but a quick drive to anything you may need.

Quaint little spot close to the beach.
Quaint park. The tent spots are clustered together in 2 areas with a shared covered pavilion. Unfortunately the showered were closed, likely due to Covid. I had the whole upper area to myself but it's also the worst air quality the PNW has seen ever. I ended up camping in my car which was nice bc it rained. Overall, not a bad place to camp at all. Id stay again. Close to the beach.
Close but still near everything
I only drove from Tacoma, which is about 1 hour 10 min away. The site was nice, great view of the water and The Ballard Locks. I’m pretty sure we paid about $35/night for Friday/ Saturday at the end of July. Nice beach, clean restrooms. We would/will go back
Nice spot not far from Seattle
Quick trip via ferry! We stayed at site 34 & 35, both tent only sites. Very grassy and beautiful! Downtown Bainbridge has a Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, too!
Nice View but Crowded Tent Site
Hike and Bike/tent area has a wonderful view of Seattle across Puget Sound. Unfortunately, the campground is far too crowded with people coming for day use, which also means a lot of litter. The camping sites also sit next to a busy parking lot.

Gorgeous View, beautiful waters
Stayed in the tent sites ONLY area. Lunch green grass with a fire pit. Shared shelter if needed due to weather with 2 grills for use. Great trees to hang the hammock!
wonderful views
I really enjoyed staying here. The views are to die for. The only downside is the showers were a little dirty and the campspots are pretty close together. a little pricey but im sure i will stay here again
This park has the most tremendous views of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker on a clear day and stunning sunrises! Lots of friendly hiker and biker neighbors and very family friendly!
Camped Friday night
