Frater Lake is 6.5 miles South from Ione and 1900’ West from Nile Lake. It is the Northernmost lake found in the chain of lakes along Highway 20. This area offers accessible toilets, picnicking and trails for hiking and biking. In the winter, there are groomed cross-country ski trails and a warming hut.

Turn left at the 1st cross street onto WA-31 S/S 2nd Ave/International Selkirk Loop S continue to follow WA-31 S/International Selkirk Loop S for 4.0 miles. Turn right onto WA-20 W for 6.4 miles to Frater Lake. Google map direcitons from Ione, WA From Colville, WA: Head north on N Maple St toward E 2nd Ave for 0.1 miles.
