Good location
Traveling down from Canada. Camp sites are wide apart and have lots of room. Bathrooms are clean. No complaints other than the showers could use some cleaning and work on their drainage. Bring sandals!
Clean and close to Park City
Clean campground with access to water sports, and very close to Park City.
Great option for visiting SLC and Park City
We choose Jordanelle as a location to stay while visiting our daughter who lives in SLC. Not a mistake. Jordanelle is a very well-kept campground offering water and electricity. We stayed in HS62 (rig length is 50ft) and strongly recommend HS60. HS62 is solid but exposed to direct sun, great for our solar. HS60 offers excellent views and a good canopy. The downside and the four-star rating is because of the entrance staff. At best, they are barely competent at their jobs and have zero offerings when it comes to exploring opportunities offered by the park. Do your research and be prepared, and Jordanelle will offer up a wonderful experience. If you are a cyclist, opportunities abound!
Awesome place to catch some dark skies
Jordanelle State Park is a good place to go for astrophotography if you don't have 4 hours to drive out of the city into the boonies. Gets reasonably dark there at night especially if you have time to hunt around for a good spot. There are also bathrooms everywhere so it makes for an easy campout without much planning.

Great location, Clean campground
We stayed here in mid October and it was beautiful and chilly. The campground is super clean and very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again, except that the spot we were in had a huge slope to it and our 30’ travel trailer and truck BARELY fit on the asphalt pad.
Amenities: Boat ramp Laundry Playground Dump station 30A & water on site Wifi (we did not use) Day use areas OHV trails on opposite side of highway (no OHV use on campground.)
The view from site 46 was beautiful and we really enjoyed the two nights at this campground. If we returned, I would pick sites 44 or 51.
Nice park
Nice park, but the pads can be exceptionally out of level.
Wonderful state park!
What a neat state park! Lots to do here. Hiking, biking, boating, swimming, and just strolling around the place. The staff was GREAT! Very friendly and courteous. Each area has there own camp host, if you have any issues, which is nice. Ed and his wife were ours for the 2 wks. we were there. Nice couple! We were in site 98 which was close to the dump station..... Pew, if the wind comes in from the west, you get a bit of a smell.... The site was nice but consider another area if you can. All in all, it is a great place to spend some time at and would recommend it! Have fun!
Jordanelle
Good fishing (trout, Kokanee salmon, bass). It can get crowded in the summer. Lots of boat traffic
Lake Views and Decent Spacing
Loved the amount of space in between sites! Water pressure is very high though. And can only book two days at a time which is ridiculous. No dump station at site but have a spot to dump.
Immaculately maintained campground
We stayed for only one night, but I would come back here in a heartbeat! Big, clean bathrooms with running water, mirrors, flushing toilets, & hot showers. Gorgeous view of the lake - you can walk right down to the water from your site. Super friendly staff. Tent pads are all level and maintained after each camper. Has all the other essentials- clean picnic table, big clean fire pit, and a charcoal grill.

Great camping spot!
The state park was great! The campsite was great! Very clean and well kept! Also dog friendly,, so that was good, they had a doggy poop bag station by the the people bathroom! We stayed in D Loop close to the water! Our spot had a cement pad with a picnic table, a fire ring, a grill! The tent pad was nice! The bathrooms were close and very well kept! They were cleaned every day! The showers were nice and there were several of them! The only negative thing was it was close to the highway so we could hear the cars driving at night!
Beautiful & private spaces!
We stayed at the "McHenry" campground in a spot right next to a creek. The traffic noise was a bit prevalent during the day because it's close to the highway. Great tent pad. We only stayed one night as we were passing through but would definitely stay again!

A beautiful place
Jordanelle has quickly become an annual tradition with the family. All siblings, nieces, and nephews, grandparents come for a couple of days and we have a great time. We use tents and RV's, but there are also cabins to rent as well! Depending on what spot you get, there may or may not be a lot of shade. Come prepared with coverings and it is great. The water is wonderful, and all of the kids and dogs love it as well! I recommend!

Waterfront camping
Great camping right by the water. Accessible by car and boat, with restrooms available nearby.
Great time
Great site. Loved that my dog was allowed and the water was great
Loved it
Perfect time for us and great fishing!
Nice location close to Park City
Great campsite Clean and nice amenities for a State Park. Be careful hooking up your RV to water. Very high pressure.
Great spot!
Very nice. Great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Spacious spots with bar-b-que and fire ring area with a picnic table. Everything in great shape!
Great fishing!!!
This is a simple site to get to. It’s only an hour from Salt Lake City and provides awesome picnic areas! Fun for the whole family; kids, seniors, pets, etc!
The fishing is really good too. We catch something every time we go.
Fully paved area, so no need to worry about clearance or bad conditions.
Be ready to pay the state park fee tho! $

Very nice and clean
I think this is good camp ground
fishing spot
great spot for fishing . dont know what else people get up to but it is a lovely spot.
open, accessible
We love going to the Jordanelle! It's easy to access and there are a lot of different options for things to do, here and within a short drive. Helpful people and well maintained!
Jordanelle park
Great amenities that you can pay for and it is always super clean as well. Never have to worry about that.
Spacious and Beautiful
A lot can be said about Jordanelle. It's quite large and has so many different camping/day use areas. Perfect for a weekend camp or just an all day kayak. Pretty big no-wake zone is great for relaxing on the water. This is close to the highway, but the noise is limited to speed boats around you. All together a peaceful place to be.
2 day trip
the lots where full but it didn’t feel overwhelming. Camping was nice just wish the weather was a little better. Had a good time fishing but only got 1. The view of the lake is great from all angels.

Jordanelle
The cabins were really nice, not too expensive, the staff was super nice, but the bathrooms were farther away than I would have liked and no way to drive to them.
Primitive campground
Beautiful area and clean facilities!
Keetley Walk-in Campground
We arrived 11:30pm, the day of, and were still able to find a lovely spot. Every single campground has a view of the reservoir. Each has a large, cement fire pit with a cooking grate, a large picnic table, and cement patio. The rangers are there 24 hrs and are very friendly and helpful. All our neighbors were wonderful and helpful too, it attracts a nice crowd. There were lots of families and singles, a complete mix. Plenty of trees for hammocks too.
There are two RV campgrounds when you first arrive at Jordanelle, but this one is a short, 3 minute walk up a trail from the main parking lot. That means there is generally plenty of availability and lots of seclusion from the large boating parties.
McHenry Loop B
The site was really nice, but it was really close to the freeway. This lead to a rough night. Semi-trucks would pass by the campsite and they were close enough that they disturbed our sleep.
Amazing!
Jordanelle is always a fun place to camp. It's not too far from Salt Lake or Provo and the water is clean. Really good family experience.
