Picturesque picnic

Hurricane Bridge Recreation Area is another well maintained area on Center Hill Lake. The Army Corps of Engineers keeps an excellent recreation area through the Center Hill Lake area and elsewhere.

The boatramp and parking area were clean and well maintained. There is a large pavilion that can be rented and there are several picnic spots that offer an excellent view of the lake.

In the nearby area are several campgrounds and natural areas worth visiting. Burgess Falls State Park with the Windows Cliff Natural Area is worth a visit if you like waterfalls, trail hiking and butterflies.
