Eastfork lake camp.
This camp grounds beautiful, spacious, clean, and close to the lake.
Nice area
Clean bathrooms and plenty of room between sites.
East fork
This place was amazing. My only complaint was the water stayed cold when I attempted to shower and the dryer didn't have any sort of timer and had to use it twice to get laundry dry
Clean
Wash houses where clean. Camping areas kept clean. Full hookup sites had plenty of room. Quiet at night. Enjoyed our stay.
Great Park, lots of people.
Great Park, several access points to the unlimited HP lake. Recently lucky enough to watch scull Rowing races . It is a big Park, and lots of campsites and very busy. Total of 34 miles trails. this is combined with horse, hiking and biking trails around the lake.
East Fork State Park Ohio
Sites are easily accessible each site or loop has a nice size turnabout so your facing the proper direction for backing in the sites are. Paved and level restrooms and showers are all ADA accessible and very clean hot water is hot @allways a plus for us “ the trails are nice The park is well taken care of. The lake is large enough for skiers jet sky’s fishing or even larger boats. We use to bring a 32 ft weekender. And camp out on the water in one of the many back water boils or coves this visit was march 27 2023. Not exactly peak season but again plenty of maintenance and ranger presents Daily cleanup and general policing 8 or 10 miles from anything you could possibly need or want

Hope to see them encourage campground events again
Used to camp here all the time with my large family of 10 (plus family friends) and come every year for the Halloween camp out. We loved it so much we would stay for both weeks and even made family T shirts for the trip. In recent years it seems like they are going away from the fun events they do like the costume contest and hayrides and community stew. Hope to see them continue these events because it adds so much to the experience.
large campground
huge campground loops. very small sites, no privacy at all. on the up side they do enforce quiet hours.
East fork state park ,ohio
We enjoyed our 2 week stay The hosts Sheri and Gary were polite and friendly We felt safe and had a great time, Oh yeah, the bathrooms were supremely cleaned every day Well be back Dave and Corrina
Massive!
This campground is massive! They have so many different loops, so it does not feel like you are camping with 400 other campers. Due to the size of the park, you have several options in choosing a campsite. There are a small amount of full hook up sites. We got lucky and got one of those because someone cancelled last minute. The only down side to our experience was that we were camping next to a very large group and I think they ought ever plug in light that they owned. The campground was lit up like an amusement park. I like the be able to enjoy the dark sky, but you can’t always pick your neighbors unfortunately.

Great Spot!
Camped over 4th of July weekend. Staff was accommodating regarding power outage in campground. Bathrooms are quite clean and never crowded, although the toilets are a bit tall and the shower heads were basically a pressure washer but they get you real clean. Campgrounds were pretty quiet and well taken care of. It rained a few times but we never saw standing water in loop F. Putt-Putt was cool too!
Early Spring
We camped in late March. The campground was still in “off season” with only minimum services. Full services start April 1.
Great place to camp and hike
The camp grounds are clean, somewhat spread out, and are overall pretty nice. Great fishing on the top water but the bottom is covered with rock so it’s easy to snag. The only con is the bathrooms could be a little more clean.
Big campground - small site
First time at this campground and a last minute reservation on our way to Zilpo National Boone Forest Campground. We decided to grab a campsite here on a whim and hoped for the best with the site we choose. It was an okay site. It was small and dropped off from our camper door side. The fire ring was on the other side of the pad and was really close to the road and camper. It did not look used or cleaned out - there was grass/weeds growing out of it. We set up our ez-up as far back of the road as we could, but the sun still hit us (not really any shade) in the middle of the day. The trees were dropping nuts all weekend - tent or camper, you were going to get hit. The pad was not very level either - I am not sure we'd choose this site again, but the loop we were on itself was nice and a little more secluded. The downside, no bathroom/shower house on the loop which meant you need to walk to the end of the loop and go down another to get to one. Bright side - the shower house was clean, good flush toilets and okay showers. The campground is gigantic - lots of places to walk. The boat ramp is at the end of the campground and you can kayak too. Lots of kids and very family oriented.
We drove around the lake to the dam to check out some of the hiking areas. While we were on our way back out from the bottom of the dam we found a pull off so we parked and went down a short trail and found a fantastic creek! The water was low so our dog got to play and it was beautiful! We'll go back to camp and make sure to visit this little hole again.

This Park Has a Little for Everyoen
This was our first time camping here and it was a large park. There was several miles of bike trails , bridle trails and hiking trails. There is also a beach and marina for campers away from the main beach and marina for those just visiting the park for the day.
The nature center offered movies in the evening for guest.
The park was very clean and maintained. Trails were well marked and the camp hosts were very friendly.
We were there over Labor Day weekend and it was a quiet park except for the occasional golf cart late at night going by.
I did see a few dogs off leash which is always a pet peeve of mine.
Verizon cell coverage was good.

Would totally go back
While I will agree the campsites are not large and they are close together you don’t feel that way once you get settled. There’s plenty for families to do and the hosts are very nice. The bathrooms are clean but not luxurious. There are decent showers as well. Everything is well marked except for the camp entrance which should be for the camp ground not the park.
Camping
Love camping
Small site
When we originally arrived at the site we were VERY disappointed. Maybe 5 feet on both sides of pavement so there was no room for a tent let alone two. The fire pit was covered in mud and it looks like someone drove through it as well and that’s what caused the mud and what not. However! The staff was amazing and ended up moving us to another site right away and we ended up staying next to the hosts of the campground who were also very nice people. Still had a great weekend at this campground

Good place to camp
Servise ok HAD O GOOD TIME
Beautiful park, clean bathrooms
This is primarily an RV campground and it’s HUGE with many loops. The ground is hilly and parts hold water so there are few tent spots. We brought tents...
At first I was a bit disappointed. However I decided to focus on the positive. The trees are big and mature. The restrooms extremely clean, the shower a pressure washer. All good things in my book.
Also adding to the positives, there is a nearby bike trail that is a 2.5 mile (also hilly) ride into a tiny cute town. My teenagers loved the freedom and got doughnuts, candy and pizza on their free time.
The trails in this park are very well kept. Some trail group has cleaned out huge sections of invasive species. Impressive and beautiful trails. They are not all marked well however so use a map!
We came across some nice backpacking sites that the park has set up. Perhaps next time!
This is a giant park and you can drive to the beach and watch the boats and enjoy a picnic.
Overall a great visit!
Awesome - Flexibility
I love this campground. There are several different types of sites to choose from. Not just full hook up, electric, water and tent VS RV. They have sites that are typical, sites that extend into a private wooded area, a site with a water view, and sites that extend into the woods that join together where multiple campers can join together.
We did a little family reunion here. This way each family had their own site and could walk into the woods down their own path to be together. So peaceful, you are not allowed to put up tents in these areas due to potential falling trees but it is nice to enjoy.
Several walking paths and some will lead you to the water.

Largest campground ever
The reason I gave this campground 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find it to be mostly an RV campground. There are not any "tent only" sections which is really disappointing. Since every site has electric, they are all RV accessible. For an RV'er this place is paradise but if you're a tent'er that likes to get away from them, it will be impossible here. There are a few campsites that sit a litter further away from others.
All that being said, we were here early in the season and it was probably at 25% capacity so we still had plenty of peace and quite in our tent. The campground was extremely clean. It's a bikers paradise because of how large it is (we ended up biking 20 miles on our Huffy's just to see the place). There's a number of trails. We did one which was really nice but in need of some trail maintenance. Bathrooms were numerous, clean, and modern. I didn't shower but the sink's water was extremely hot so the showers should be too.
We wrote down our favorite sites and will definitely return as a "local" camping trip but I still wish they had a tent section.

High quality modern campground
We’ve stayed here multiple times, good electric & water service with clean bath houses. This time we stayed as a group in loop G, sites 210, 211, 212. They were awesome wooded sites with paved parking, good drainage, low traffic. Had 20, 30, & 50A service. Water station is next to site 210. Any site 200-212 would be a nice site if camping alone. When scheduling through website, each picture of the site is attached to help you book.

Large campground
We really enjoyed this large campground. There’s a bike way that terminates in the campground that runs by the lake and near a prairie. It’s not a loop so you’ll have to pedal back.
There are multiple playground and loops. Lots of places roam!
Big lake
Nice site!
Confusing
The State Park is on one side of the Lake and the Campground is on the other. There is no public road between the two. The campground is nice but it's an extremely long walking distance to the lake.
Relaxing!
Very quite campground, lots of shaded areas for tent campers. Shower houses ver clean!
Decent campground
This campsite is HUGE. Has over 400 campsites and the first 17 have places you can keep your horses! Something I have never seen before. Some sites are not okay for tent camping and when we got there we had to go back to the office to see if we could change our site. Lucky for us you get one free site switch a stay, so that was nice. The beach is big but unfortunately no dogs allowed. It would be nice for them to include a section where dogs were allowed so we could enjoy. We spent our day on the trails instead. A lot of RV camping but overall it was a great trip!

Large well-kept campground - good for boaters
I stayed at the campground with my older kids. It's a very large campground and spread out, which is great for privacy. We LOVED our campsite, as it was very private and shaded, although a little bit of a walk to the restrooms.
I would highly recommend bring bikes if you can. There is a nice bike trail. We didn't hit the hiking trails, but they were available. It was very quiet. We normally camp at Caesar Creek, and we were a little disappointed that there was not a camping beach available, since that's one of our favorite things to do. The beach and water recreation area are a long drive away, which made it more trouble than it was worth.
If you're looking for quiet, beautiful setting, this is the place. If you have a boat, it's nice large lake. If you're looking to be entertained, this may not be the spot for you.
