Other things to note

As you enter the campsite, you'll be greeted by the neatly mowed plot, offering ample space for setting up tents, camping chairs, and a private fire pit. The well-maintained area ensures a comfortable and clean environment for campers to relax and enjoy their time in nature.

You will have full privacy on each site as they are backed by trees and face out towards the open meadow.

There is a bathroom outhouse in which offers a unique and efficient bathroom system that utilizes woodchips. This sustainable approach replaces traditional water-flushing toilets, minimizing water usage and ensuring minimal ecological footprint. Woodchips are used as a natural and organic material to cover waste, providing an odor-neutralizing and composting effect.

Using the bathroom at Meadow Basecamp is not only environmentally conscious but also an opportunity to learn and embrace alternative solutions that promote sustainability. As you utilize the woodchip system, you'll be contributing to the campsite's efforts to preserve the natural resources and reduce the impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
