Left Wanting

We had a FHU for $100. Maybe it is seasonal, but the pool is closed even though it states "heated pool and open every day." It was full of green, dank water. The spot we were in had about 6 ft camp side. There were a lot of travelers, but most sites looked like seasonal or full timers. This was not worth $100 but that may have been inflated because of the balloon festival.

Just outside the city sprawl.

Nice overnight if you’re traveling I-40. Nice staff, clean pool, well maintained sites. Great spot to stay and then visit the city during the day. Close to Cedro Peak mountain biking and hiking trails.

Convenient location

Park is located right off interstate but because of the hills road noise is low. Sites are very narrow.

Sweet little spot

We got there during night check in but went in to talk with the camp host in the morning. She was very sweet and kind! The bathrooms are being remodeled and are so pretty! Best showers ever! The tent sites were small but nice for a night. However it was bright with a light right outside the tent.

Nice out of the way place

We stayed 2 nights there when nothing around was available. When I called the young lady was very helpful getting us a spot. The sites are tight and are terraced up a hill. Nice dog park. We were thankful to get a spot at a busy time.

Quiet stay off of I-40

We are full timers and love it here. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and keep everything neat and tidy. New bathrooms down by the office, and quiet life and very peaceful place!

Run down RV park in the mountains

This place is run down and outdated but I enjoyed my stay. The park is up a little dirt road that takes you into the mountain. There is a small visitor center and pool that wasn't in working use when I was there. Coun laundry. Free hot showers. You will see lots of wildlife here, coyotes, mountain lions, etc. If you have little dogs with you, be careful and keep them close. During my stay a coyote got my neighbors small pug. Lots of full timers here also that didn't seem to keep their spaces very clean. Overall this place isnt the best, but it's a unique location for an RV park and super cheap.
