Great
Been camping here close to 40 yrs. It has changed a lot but I consider it the best. If you like large sites in a wooded setting with many private ones this is the place. Dump station clean lake clean sites etc can’t say enough no bingo or pot like dinners or other gimmicks that attract your $$$$. Can’t wait to see major improvements under way.
Loved it here
We stayed here for a night in mid October, as they were getting ready to close for the season, so more than half of the campground was closed off. But the part that we did see was awesome. Each site was huge, separated from its neighbor, private, mostly flat, and beautiful. No hookups in the campground, and sites are hit or miss with tree coverage, some sites may have enough opening for solar or starlink, but I wouldn’t count on it.
There are hiking trails throughout the campground, but our dog got covered in ticks so watch for that. There are water spigots throughout the campground and a dump station. Showers were free and nice and clean, and you can control the temperature and let the water run (no button to push).
The dump truck driver was there picking up garbage and I asked him about recycling and he said they have their own transfer station where the waste is sorted, so all recycling and garbage goes into the dumpster.
We paid $23 for a site because it was primitive season, but I think normally it’s $25. No other taxes or fees were charged. There’s a little store in the ranger office with basic supplies and gifts, ice cream, fire starters, ice, etc. There’s also a little free library exchange behind the office. And to top it off, we had cell service here. Great stay, highly recommend! Beware of ticks!

Private!
Such a nice campground! All sites are very private. Some of the clintel is a bit noisy but overall a very nice spot to camp cheap! Roads are paved.
Nice big sites
It's like two different campgrounds depending on if it's mid week / weekend.
Mid-week, the park was at maybe 20% capacity, and it was amazing. Quiet, and tons of room.
The weekend was packed! Our neighbors were playing karaoke 🎤 till 11pm, just a much vibe.
Central location to a handful of really cool Historic NH towns.
Empty on the weekday
This could be a really great park. A great beach, big spacious spots, cute trails and ponds. But it’s trashed, literally. Got here on a Sunday afternoon, trash left on the beach, on sites, campfires smoldering, food left in campfires rings, and the showers were really nasty. On the plus side bathrooms near my site were cleaned and well maintained. Little disappointed in humans for leaving the park this way and they have teenagers picking up so it’s not going to be great. Didn’t anyone patrolling or maintaining basic rules.

Clean and quiet
Here midweek, very quiet. Restroom and shower facilities are very clean and well-kept. Some of the sites are getting a little overgrown and need to have a little trimming done.
Great time!
This was my first time at Greenfield and it was pretty awesome! From the moment we checked in, I was excited. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The campsites are spaced nicely and have decent privacy. I will be back again!
We love greenfield
We come to greenfield multiple times a year, it’s reasonably quiet, affordable, has swimming hiking and hasn’t changed since I was a kid. Sites are spaced out and I’ve never had a problem with things being clean.
Great
I had a group of about 30 people. We had a great time. They are o. Top with the curfew so make sure to stay quiet.

Great Park, big sites
Stayed for a weekend (1 night). Easy access to a bathroom (which was very clean). Quiet neighbors, everyone around us observed the quiet hours (10p-7a) and even during the day no one was super loud. Very respectful drivers made biking feel fun and safe for kids. Campers beach was lovely. Sure the water was a little weedy, but we didn’t mind. The lake is a great spot for kayaking (although it is a little bit of a walk from the parking lot with a heavy boat) and the sunset on the lake definitely didn’t disappoint. Nice partially shaded and level site with good access for backing in our small trailer. Playground, camp store, convenient check-in at office, firewood available for $6, lots of trails and fairly level for easy biking. State park camping (no hookups) but there’s a dump station near the exit and water spigots dispersed around the campsites. Absolutely would go again.

I'd have to say it's ok not great sites to close together but ok
Ok not bad not great just ok
Fantastic little camp
My girlfriend and I went here on a thursday and stayed till Saturday, so the camp was a little more empty then normal but it was a great little place. Nice views of the lake, swimming, wide open sites, not too over crowded! I'd definitely go back! Close by to Miller state park (NHs oldest state park), Garwin falls (beautiful little water falls you can swim in)

Comfortably Isolated
We went camping with a group of 5 people spread out onto two sites. We arrived after dark and our friends were able to pick up a parking pass for us ahead of time. It was easy to find the campground and our site.
Restrooms are easy to reach throughout the campground and there is a shower house near the entrance to the campground (no quarters necessary). Stores for extra food or forgotten materials can be picked up in town a 10-15 minute drive away. We enjoyed our time here and will be back!
Large, quiet camp ground
Very large campground with lots of woods to block you from other campers. Dog friendly 🐶
To close to MA border
Bring sandals for the shower as you may get tetanus. A lot of MA people show and are extremely massholeish.
Clean,quite, peaceful
There's a shower and nice lake with rentals
Gorgeous site, tremendous potential, poorly maintained
Amazing site. Private sites, lots of woods. Poorly maintained - overgrown trails and sites.
Secluded Sites
The night before hiking Mount Monadnock, my husband and I camped here. Monadnock State Park is about a 25 minute drive from the campground, and provides a beautiful hike. The RV sites at Greenfield State Park were relatively secluded, as it is a very wooded area. We visited very early in the season, so the main tent camping loops were blocked off for maintenance. Our site had a picnic table and a fire ring. We drove by a shower facility and a building with restrooms. The restrooms were still locked for the winter, so there were a few port-a-potties right outside- these were absolutely disgusting. It looked as though they had not been cleaned out all winter. Otherwise, the campground seemed nice! Just don’t forget to bring some bug-spray for those New Hampshire mosquitos!
Large Park with lots to Explore
Large park. Good sized sites with plenty of shade and decent privacy. Bathrooms are sufficient and there are enough to cover the wide expanse of the park. Swimming pond and beach is clean but can get crowded on a busy weekend. Frog pond is fun to explore. Reasonable rates.
