A little break
After traveling all day it was nice meeting a happy face and great customer service. Sites are long but thin and we were able to stay hooked up for the next day travel. Pool was nice and refreshing.
Cornfield camping
Clean and friendly campground. Very clean bathrooms. Surrounded by cornfields.
Pleasant with great taste!
This KOA Campground was very pleasant, and the pizza with wings tasted great! Staff member brought our food to our campsite. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. Definitely recommended! Our campsite was clean. The shower house was clean, and there was plenty of hot water.
Good place to stop for night
After a day of driving check in was easy. Loved the pool. It was clean. Showers were clean. You can order a pizza in the office. The two ladies working we’re awesome and even delivered the fresh cooked pizza to our site. Lots of activities for kids. Playground, bikes, basketball, pool. Some sites had trees. Mine did not but we were close to dog run.
So cramped
This campsite has lots almost on top of one another. There is hardly any room to set up your tent. Adjacent campsites are so close together you can hear everyone's conversation.
On a positive note the pool and bathroom amenities were kept up.
Close sites, well maintained
We stayed here in June. The tent sites are very close in proximity- your conversation quickly becomes your neighbors conversation. Tent sites are pull-up which is convenient. There are RVs behind and away from the tent sites (mostly RVs here with about 10 tent sites). We met some great tent neighbors & had nice conversation. One tent neighbor was extremely disruptive (left their dog tied up crying at the site- did not give the dog water the whole time they were there which was 12 hours- It was sad- they were also all around loud and inconsiderate). Other than those neighbors all was good. Laundry on site so bring quarters. Showers are clean enough. Bathrooms are a close walk to tent sites. Not much at the camp store (they were out of a lot of stuff their site says they have & we're not making food either), but they did get an ice delivery when we were there which was helpful. We planned to cook at our site anyway- but it was inconvenient for some families relying on their pizza for dinner. Great sunset views over the cornfield from the tent sites !!!

Today is October 16.
Good choice
Arrived after hours for a quick over night stay. Only down side very dark and hard to find entrance. Sites are fairly close to each other but campsite is very nice and kept. Our site had a nice unobstructed view. Nice shower and restroom facilities. Would stay again.
Great Pizza
The campground was nice, but sites were tiny and close. The pool was nice, as were the showers and bathrooms. Very clean. The ladies in the office were wonderful. The farm traffic was loud in the morning, but we were up to leave anyway. Overall, we would probably stay again.
Favorite KOA
This campground is set among the corn fields. The staff was super! The pool is cool and tucked away in the back. The store sold single local beers and was open late. They were slinging hot pizza. We stayed in an air conditioned camping cabin. Super close to the pool and bathrooms! 2 of the nicest fenced dog parks of any KOA. I would definitely stay there again if driving through.
July trip
The sites are tight, our awning is basically touching the next RVs slide . Not much shade
Perfect stop for the night
Stayed on our way to Colorado from Indiana. Right of the interstate. Well stocked store. Pool full hookups and pull through. What more could you need for a good nights rest.
Clean and Peaceful
I was surprised how quite the sites were with it being so close to I80. The shower and bath houses are very clean. There is lots to keep kids busy ... our 3 year old spent most of the evening catching toads.
OVERNIGHT
Just a quick stop over but was very very clean and nice!!
Great stop for the night
Stopped on our way through to Wisconsin. We ended up coming in late so they left our information in an envelope for us. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because we got a tent site with electricity but didn't know we were going to get a site with only gravel. It may have been user error on my part...as I did make the reservation online. Beautiful site, but we just didn't stay long enough to enjoy all that was available to us. We had Soo much fun catching frogs/toads at our site!!
Cozy Cabin in the Cornfields
This was a wonderful spot to visit during our trip across the country. The pet friendly cabin was a cozy air conditioned break from the August heat. The location is great and feels tucked away every though it isn't far from the highway. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend!
Wonderful KOA!
Seriously these guys are on the ball. Quickly got us checked in and taken to our spot, with free koozies I might add. Wonderful pool, park, shower houses and restrooms. Quiet and shady with plenty of room. Highly recommend.
Perfect Stop
Traveling thru to California. Easy on/off from I-80. Clean spots and level pads. Registration was very easy. Nice overnighter. Looking to try this KOA when we can stay.
Best travel stop
This is our fav stopover when traveling through Midwest. It Is the cleanest camp! Small but shade trees and very clean restrooms. Swimming pool. We have also stayed in camper cabins when it was too hot to camp. Excellent cabins with ac , ask for one in shade ! Nice porches and tables.
Nice KOA on Interstate
Nice place for a one night stay while traveling. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.
WoW Stay!
We needed a quick 'pit stop' stay on our way to Colorado. We chose this one because it was one of the few open KOAs during the COViD scare, and we simply needed a basic cabin to rest for one night. We arrived late, and were very impressed with the very organized system for getting our key/campground map, and found the super clean cabin near the 'private' (access code required) bathrooms. We woke in the morning to a gorgeous sunrise coming up over the newly planted corn field. It was SPECTACULAR! We had a chance to walk around and noticed just how immaculate everything was kept. The pool looked perfectly clear and I just can't say enough. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Nice
Friendly staff, reservations made easy, clean bathrooms, very accommodating
Great stop!
Stopped on a trip from SD back to PA. Surrounded by corn fields... so pretty. We were starving and they had pizza delivered right to our camper! So glad we found this place!
Really nice!!
We were VERY satisfied here. The price was more than usual but it is a private facility. Beautiful sites, ponds for fishing. Camp store well attended. Staff and service excellent. Two state parks on the island give plenty of natural wonders, including a small beach. Location is so cool!
Good stop
Pool was chilly but nice after a long day of driving. Surrounded by cornfields with interstate close it works for a quick stop. Don’t be fooled not all sites have cable as advertised.
A nice sized KOA for a quick stop on your way down I-80
We stopped at this KOA on our way home from the Black Hills. It's just off the highway and pretty big. Nice pool and large playground for the kids, a small dog run (with all the room they had, you'd think they could make this a bit bigger), a pizza place that makes it right there and delivers to your camp site. We were impressed with the quality. Not the BEST PIZZA EVER, but certainly better than expected and nice when it's too windy out to grill. Plenty of sites and hook ups for everything from the biggest RV to the smallest tent. A good choice for a stop along the way. Watch the spring time weather though, it can get nasty!
