It sucked

Horrible location, lots of foot and vehicle traffic, very small camping spaces. Cars go as fast as they want, I was right on the main road AND next to the walking path. Yeah it sucked . Never again.

Great for an overnight stay

We stayed her for 1 night on a road trip in one of the tent sites and it was perfect. There were several options to put our tent on our site including an area covered by trees and secluded from the rest of the park. It was right on the Yellowstone River. The staff was VERY friendly!

Beautiful, quiet spot

The KOA is tucked away from the main road. Is has beautiful views of the mountains and is very quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! We happened to have a trailer hitch problem and the amazing staff were quick to help and ensure we were taken care of. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We loved the dog friendly fenced in area.

Great views!

Woke up in the mountains at this campsite. Stayed here for the second year in a row because we loved it so much the first time. Great place to go stargazing. We stopped for coffee and lunch in Bozeman. They have the cutest bookstore that has "Blind date with a book" where books are covered in brown wrapping paper and you pick a book based on the staff's small hints about the story.

BEST CAMPSITE EVER!!!

The best campsite I have ever stayed at! Beautiful views, heated and clean bathrooms with hot water and showers. Charging stations in bathrooms and lounge area. Laundry room with cozy waiting space (charging stations there also). Louise and her husband are icons and made us feel so welcome and safe. Thank you KOA, can't wait to stay again!

Great for Clamping

Next to Yellowstone River. Has an open onsite pool. No privacy. Matter of fact I watched my neighbor's satellite TV on the night we stayed.

Nice KOA

Right on the Yellowstone river, nice playground and covered pool, dog friendly, nice little store,a nice pavilion, nice helpful staff, Wi-Fi good until after dinner. The road coming into the park is HORRIBLE!! The sites are a bit too close but there’s room for your slide outs.

Just what we needed

Came in late in the rain…they had cabins available for not much more than a tent site. That was a blessing for us since we have been tent camping. Staff is very helpful and friendly!

Not crowded for a KOA

I was able to snag a kamping cabin the day before for one night on the way through bc the campgrounds off the interstate all said the train was loud. Totally worth the extra 15 minutes one way! River on one side, mountains on the other. Wish I could have stayed longer m

Not for me!

I’ll try to be fair after a 30 min payment dispute with the “I’m only part-time” check in attendant! All I can say is keep all your receipts! The first night we were in a space where all the traffic went right by us including a diesel truck reving his engines close to midnight. We asked to move and were accommodated....that’s where they messed up the charges. The second site was much better. Sites are gravel, well kept, and fairly level. Outside Attendant loaned us a tool and was very helpful. Close to the river and, while we didn’t fish, others did and said they were catching. Good location for Yellowstone. Nice playground for kids and laundry room available.
