Nice area

My family used to stay here every year. Owners are just not very friendly. You get told 2 different prices over the phone compared to when you get there. Overall is a nice camp ground pretty quiet. Pretty river.

Overall quite and clean

We called because we were just on the road and I could hear the lady in the background yelling at the camp host I was talking with. She was being very rude. We reserved a site and only gave us 2 options. Web said 20.00 to camp FHU. They also charge 10.00 a person so plan on spending around $50.00 a night. Doubt we will be back. Just not worth that.

2 rivers 1 campground

Great location where you can float the Piney and Gasconade and float back into your camp! The last 1/2 mile are the same float.

Great scenery !

Great scenery!

We got to stay along the river looking down on the banks and across from the boiling spring pouring into the river from below. We watch kayakers and canoers flock to the spring to tempt and dare one another to feel the icy cold fill the river.

We had great neighbors and boy scouts galore. Everyone seem to have a good time.

If you can bare one community shower and few toilet facilities with running water, then you will like the grounds.

For a pair of half century old empty nesters, we did all right for 2 nights and no shower.

In all, what really made our high appraisal was the setting and wonderful vistas.

Beautiful and amazing

My fiancé and I stayed here over the weekend and had such a great experience!! Our camp site was right on the river with a beautiful view of the spring. The staff is extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We did a 5 mile float which was the perfect length and very scenic. Highly recommend camping here.

Floating on the River!

Stayed at the beautiful Boiling Springs Campground and completed the 5 mile float down the Big Piney into the Gasconade. Too much fun! Booked float right at Boiling Spring. Bus picked us up there and dropped us at a location on the gasconade. Float ended right back at camp! We got out of our boat and walked up the bank to our camp site. We stayed at one of the end site B9 next to walkway for the river. Large level camp with lots of shade. Site was full hookup. Great site. Only complaint is shower house and decent bathroom was all the way up by camp office. Vault toilets by camp left a lot to be desired.

Great float trip area

This is a pretty nice place to get a float trip however far up the Big Piney you want to go and float right back to camp. Friendly staff that run a nice outfit and a decent little store.

There is a spring on the opposite side of the river that is fairly easy to swim to that is a thrill to swim through. It’s ice cold!

Family friendly campground

Well maintained family run campground on the Gasconade. They have 4 little cabins and a camp store. If you want to float they will drop you off up river and you can float right back to camp.

Small but great river access

Located on the Gasconade beauty abounds. Full service hookups. Some shaded spots right on river. Bathroom is very small. No showers. One toilet spot not very nice. Access to the boiling spring with swing rope into the river. Canoe floats can be scheduled at the office. Just a short way away is a fun trip to Uranus MO.
