Weekend Stay for Baseball Tournament
My nephew was playing in a baseball tournament in Ruston so we decided to stay for the weekend. It was nice to have a gate that closed at 6pm so you don’t have to worry about random people showing up. The park was very nice and clean. We had a pull through site that was nice but not a lot of room in any place for the pull throughs. Probably going to try a Premium back in next trip. We didn’t get to enjoy the trails or see the waterfall but we plan on going back so we can enjoy all of that.
Quiet Weekend with Fun Activities
We stayed at spot 32. It was a very quiet spot that had a lot of shade but still had a view of the water. Close to the restrooms but not much through traffic. Large wide spots with paved cement made it easy to park and level. Full hook ups were nice. Trash cans were at every other campsite. There are only 33 RV spots at the park so it makes for a great getaway with not a ton of people. The site had good Verizon cell service, 2 bars with about 40-50 mbps. The walking path around the lake was really nice. The bike trails were really fun. They even kayaks for rent on the lake for a reasonable price. Overall the campground had great amenities and made for a great weekend getaway. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.
Well taken care of & beautiful
Really enjoyed our stay. View from the lake at all spots. Premium spots are nice and wide. It’s a small campground, so not too busy. There are lots of great spots to be around the park and lots to do. Not far from a grocery store or gas station. I really liked how quiet and spacious spot 32 was, but the ones on the lake are really nice, too. We could hear coyotes at night, I would probably not go for a hike with a dog or a small child during their peak hours. If you like watching birds, this is a great park to do so.

Beautiful Full Service Wooded Park in North Louisiana
We were looking for a place to stay overnight when we happened on this gem. We were on a deluxe double wide cement pad with full hookups on the water. Beautiful and quiet.
Nice Location
I rented a tent site, perfect location under the trees but enough room to see the stars at night. Although it was full it was fairly quiet. The showers, though not fancy by any means, we’re a nice touch after riding the mountain bike trails all day. Trails give you enough miles to get a good workout in but something (most) of the family could do together.
Peaceful Escape
No doubt about it, this park is beautiful. Apparently it’s known for its mountain biking and other trails, but camping here was wonderful. The park staff was super friendly and took pride in the work of keeping up the park. The Rv spots all had a great view of either the lake or the amazing woods. The on-site bathhouse was clean and well taken care of.
Wonderful Spot!
Super clean and so nice by the water! The backup spots are so nice! We grabbed a pull through (they have 4) since i had the jeep in tow and didn’t want to disconnect it in the cold :). I want to return here when I can stay longer.
Great park and friendly staff.
This place is conveniently located right off the interstate. The park is beautiful and the staff are awesome. They have wifi, but we never needed it. Our AT&T phones had a great signal throughout most of the park.

A rare find!
Small park, lots of trees and walking/mtn bike trails. Beautiful lake, ducks, fishing piers, swimming beach, playground. Campground is right on the lake. No bad Rv spots! Spots have concrete pads. Full hookup. They take reservations, but not for a particular spot. A really wonderful place to get away! Staff very friendly.
Nice find in NW La
Really nice primitive spots with fire pits as well as RV spots.
Clean restrooms and showers.
11 mile trail system for hiking/mt bike. Exceptional mt bike course.
Big lake with beach(seasonal). Big Playground for young kids.
Beautiful lake
Pick your site from what’s open. Sites backing to water are amazing. Have gated patio overlooking the water. All concrete pads with full hook ups. Easy check in! Nice trails.

I took my 3&5 year old boys
We loved Lincoln park. Great tent areas with a CLEAN bath house pretty close. Real shaded areas. Very clean and kid friendly. It’s gated and locked at night which is nice. Next time we are bringing our bikes for the paved walking trail. Really enjoyed this site.

Nice campground in pretty wooded area nice n small lake
Lots of hiking/mountain biking trails and a paved trail that goes around the lake. Playground for children and a swimming beach. Seasonal concession stand. Biking helmets required if you do ride. The mountain biking trails are very challenging and lots of races are held here. Trail runs and mountain biking races. Campground area is nice, quiet some sites convenient to the lake, overlooking the lake. Fishing piers available.
Beautiful, spacious, full hookups!
This is always one of our favorite places to camp. Close to town if you need something, but truly has everything you’ll need for entertaining your whole family. Our favorites are the walking/biking paths, fishing, feeding ducks, big playgrounds, and well-planned, level sites. You aren’t assigned a site at reservation, so you’ll need to get there early if you want a specific one.
Family friendly outdoor camping
Bath house, water, electric, lake, pavement bike/walking path, playground, nationally recognized mountain bike course, group pavilions, primitive camping, beautiful rv spots, great place! City of Ruston is right down the road. Gas station a few ministers from the park. Gated and need a code to get in after closing.
Scenic and Restful
Lincoln Parrish Park is a relaxing and beautiful place to park it for one night or six. The park is clean, well maintained and easily navigated. They offer both RV and primitive camping along with a seperate day use area. The lake has a nice path so a walk around it is great exercise and gives the opportunity to see fish jumping and lots of ducks. Pricing is reasonable and the views are relaxing.
Funny
A nice scene
Beautiful wooded campground. Very spacious
This campground has some pull through sites which are very convenient. Nice lake with a walking path. Quiet, spacious lots. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Hidden...
This park, known more for their mountain biking courses than camping, is literally hidden in a neighborhood. Nice park with some primitive camping feel.
Wooded camping
Campground offers modern sites with tables, fire pits, electric, and water hook ups. Facilities are nearby and always clean. The campground offers privacy and is generally well shaded by trees. There is a large playground and pavilion on the facility. The park also offers some of the best mountain biking trails in the state. There is also a lake with a swimming area and a paved walking trail around it. Since the campground is not secluded there are generally no issues with using phones or accessing shopping and restaurants.
