Rocky Ford campground space 141
Very shady, right off the water. A little steep to actually get to the waters edge. Fire rings with grills and picnic table. Lantern hook with water and 30 & 50 amp electric hookups. Back in spot would be a little tight for a bigger travel trailer but not bad.
Perks, but not awesome
First off, bathrooms and showers are disgusting. Campsites are good size, even though there are a million of them. Great water access for motorized and human powered watercraft alike.
Beautiful, Spacious, and Well Designed
Stayed here on a night in transit and were really impressed. This is what campgrounds should be! Plenty of space, amazing prices, lots of trees with well kept grass and scenic water views all add up to a spot we just wish we could have stayed at longer!
If you’re arriving late, be forewarned that the campground is huge so a map is essential to find your spot. Highly recommend trying to book a water view spot. We were in site 101 and couldn’t be happier with it!
Rock Ford Sites @ Tuttle Creek River Pond
Very Nice spacious sites with plenty of trees on Rocky Ford Side of Tuttle Creek River Pond State Park. Sites with water front with electric and water hook-ups. Clean bath/shower houses. Dump stations on the way out.
Quiet & Lake View
This State Park was kept clean. We were on sites that had lake views with Water and electric. To find the sites took some time due to no Ranger or worker available at checkin, but they did have our names on the camp posts. Paved Roads were plenty wide enough to travel through with our 40' towing our truck. We did not utilize the restrooms so I can not give a rating. But if your looking for a clean, safe, quiet location this was it. If we are traveling through again we would definitely stop.

Great spot close to manhattan for any kind of camping
For the price you can’t beat the great location, views, and resources this place has to offer. Plenty of nice people who come and go year round and have plenty of privacy for camping and fishing. Recommend to anyone who is thinking about camping around the area.
Big Busy Campground
Tent camping. RV camping. Great pull through spots and lots of full grown trees for big shade. Great grounds and many many lakes side spots.
Great camping at Rocky Ford.
Our first time camping at Tuttle Creek Rocky Ford. This area is just what we like, lots of trees, secluded, quite, good for the dogs. The hiking trails are well maintained. Great Lake for fishing and boating.
fun lake great trails
The lake is amazing and it has some great trail access. Manhattan is a college town and with it can bring some more wild campers and some wild people on the lake. Still a fun place to visit.
Campground is a 3 orv area is a 5
The bathrooms were located by the camper areas and not the primitive area. Lots of room near the shelters for multiple tents. There was no management and they have a self pay system. We didn’t see a single park manager anywhere.
The orv area was amazing to take the jeeps out to! There’s trails, mudding areas, and areas called ledges for climbing. We will definitely be returning again!

Cool Day at Tuttle
Explored some of the trails/hunting areas with my puppy! The scenery was just beautiful and so serene. Enjoyed the seclusion from rest of the state park at this outlet of the lake.
The best kept secret campground in Kansas!
When camping in Kansas you must try the Rocky Ford Campground in Tuttle State Park River Pond Area. This is a great shaded area with water views and full hookups. There are great secluded sites or sites you can camp next to friends or family. There are huge cottonwood trees that are wrapped with green vines during the summer months that guide you through the park. Make sure and put your food away at night or the raccoons will be dining at your table during the night. Site #44 is our favorite spot to hang the hammock and relax after biking or hiking the trails.
Great fishing campsite
Camped here half a dozen times this past year. There are some very nice sites available but there are some really boring ones too. College nearby so weekends inches summer can get a little rowdy at times but week nights are usually very peaceful.
Fishing in the lake, the spillway it the pond is always productive. And if you do want a little nightlife, there is a great area called Aggieville 15 minutes away.
Well Maintained
This was a nice park just to have a relaxing day. It was nice to see so many people out and about taking advantage of this beautiful park.
