Loved this little KOA
This is a sweet little campground. Just off the interstate, but far enough away that you don’t hear the traffic. Staff is super nice and helpful. Wifi is decent. Dog park is generous size. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is an outside sink for use if you are tent camping. Nice playground for the kiddos and pool. It’s a small KOA but I highly recommend it.

Good Stopover
Nice KOA.. refurbing the bathrooms but have a Stahla rental trailer shower /bathroom. We don’t usually use campground bathrooms so it doesn’t matter..Gravel spaces, friendly staff, not cramped. Playground for the kids! Our space had a “personal” very small fenced 6’x8’ dog area
It's a KOA! Great overnight stop going through western Kansas
Great place to stay overnight or longer if Goodland is your final destination. It's a KOA so everything is up to par with the brand. Offices and facilities are maintained and clean. Pool was a nice welcome for the kids and I. Playground had lots of kids playing at it and everyone was happy. Definitely would stay here again.
1 night Stopover
Campground is convenient off of I 70 on the way to Colorado. Staff were helpful and gave us a cable cord to borrow. Sites are on top of each other, wish we didn't like. Bathrooms were very clean. Full hook ups were nice, this was our first visit to a KOA. The pool was a welcome site on a very hot July day.
Older KOA-Big Rig Spots
This is an old KOA with new concrete patios. You have to swing wide to pull in and there is a tight straight spot where you stop to register but doable for my Motorhome. Basic RV park with full hookups with level gravel lots. Pull through spot # 61 accommodated my motorhome and tow, which is 67 feet long. Checking was quick and the attendant was very nice.

Solid Drop
Great place to stop by last minute on the way to Denver. We were able to call in advance and get a reservation. Easy process and we could drive right up to our site. Facilities were well-maintained and clean
Well maintained road stop
The campground is well maintained with a friendly staff. The sites are level. Very easy access from I-70

Basic, but a good stop
Was a good stop along I70. Easy in and out, though roads in campground can be tight for large rigs.. Staff was nice. Most people stay 1 night. Cable TV worked well. Go see large Van Gough easel nearby
Calm place
We arrived late but found our site and camped for the night. After camping in a few spots on our road trip it was refreshing to camp in a grassy spot because Midwest! This place was easy to find and has a playground and pool so very kid-friendly. Really enjoyed my first KOA experience! It’s very relaxing.
Nice Tent Camping
Nice efficient campground. Fairly small for a KOA but has all the usual amenities. Good clean bathhouse (showers, toilets). Laundry facilities. Nice tent sites on flat ground covered in grass and shaded by trees. Very pastoral setting. Very nice overnight camping spot while traveling.
Clean, functional, pleasant
Just a nice, quiet little spot of land with basic but well-maintained facilities. No forests, lake, trails, or any of that, but in this part of the state such things don’t exist anyway. Perfect as a stopover on the Great Journey between Kansas and Colorado.
Perfect for a night or two
This campground has everything you need for a night or two to take a break from the road. Laundry, pool, full hookups. Ray, the owner, is very friendly. Easy walk to Main St, museums, parks and tourist attractions. Easy on/off I-70. A turn or two is kinda tight in the campground, but certainly manageable in our 38ft Class A with tow car attached.
Good Campground for Passing Through
We were on our way to Colorado, and since we were KOA Rewards members, we decided to stop at this KOA. As the proprietor told us, this campground was just a stopover for those passing through, and that is exactly how it felt. By the next morning, just about all of the other campers were gone. When we first got there, we went to our campsite which was supposed to have electricity and be close to water. It had neither. However, the guy we talked to was kind enough to let us move to a site with both since there weren’t that many other campers. One thing that I discovered about Kansas is that there aren’t many trees as the campgrounds, including this one. Fortunately, the night was cold and breezy, so the sun wasn’t uncomfortable. We built a fire in our little Solo stove to cook hot dogs, and the owner came over to ask if we had a fire. I showed him that it was in our portable Solo stove so it wouldn’t damage the ground. Apparently, ground fires are forbidden in the area, especially since Kansas gets very little rain. There are recreational opportunities, whether or not they get used. There is a swimming pool(which was closed), a basketball goal, and a playground. There is an interesting old house with a windmill next door, but it is on private property. It is, however, great for a photograph. Overall, it’s not too bad of a campground, but there’s not much to do. It is best for those who are passing through to other destinations.

Great overnight stay
We actually ended up here due to some severe weather forcing us to stop. It turned out to be a great overnight stay with plenty of room to walk the pups and get some exercise before moving on.
It a full service RV Park with full hook ups, free laundry, and a single use bathroom on site. There were also items for purchase by the office.

Perfect Stop Over
I wouldn’t recommend to stay for vacation here but this is a perfect stop for an overnight stop headed in or out of Denver. Very friendly people and very clean bathrooms. Incredibly easy check in and they have an after-hours process that is so convenient and quick. They have wifi and include a remote with check-in. There’s no recycling in Goodland but there’s plenty of trash receptacles at this KOA. Conveniently located close to a Walmart, coffee shop and restaurants as well as the Van Gogh painting.
Comfortable safe stay near Interstate 70
Context: I would not rate this campground 4 stars for destination camping, but I would like folks to know it is a great stop-over. Typical trusted KOA cleanliness and quality. Full hookups, some shade and nice grounds for kids and pets. Friendly staff, wifi was good enough for online school; 4g cell coverage, cable too if you are set up in your rig. Good health protocols during CV19. Clean bathrooms and sites. Camp grills, but no fire pits (it can be windy, but this campground's layout offers some blocking particularly to the south end). After crossing Kansas from east to west, this is a great stop-over. Also, if leaving Colorado late traveling west to east, same benefit.
Perfect Rest Stop
This campground is positioned perfectly to receive weary travelers. It has all the amenities one could ask for. We enjoy traveling to Colorado and will most likely be a repeat visitor.
On the road again...
This KOA has full hookups and nice level sites. The park is also super conveniently located to the interstate, so it’s the perfect place to pull off for the night.
The park does have a cute playground complete with old farm equipment and a small pool. The grass is all well kept and the bathrooms were very clean.
The town of Goodland is not known as a tourist attraction by any means but they are hiding a secret there, and it resides within walking distance of the KOA. Take your camera and venture around the block from the campground to a quaint park with giant ( over 20 foot tall) easel. Atop that easel sits an equally oversized rendition of the Vangogh sunflower painting- fitting for Kansas.
So, if you missed the giant ball of twine further up the highway- be sure you check out what has to be the largest art piece in the lower 48!
Not bad of a KOA near the interstate
Typical KOA; clean, nice little pool and playground, no campfires though! They have grills for cooking. Good option for quick overnight near the interstate.
Worlds largest easel!
1 mile away is the worlds largest easel, across the street is a sunflower field when in season. Property was nice. Stayed 1 night in a tent, until the storm came in. Ended up sleeping in my car due to the extremely flat land of KS and a severe thunderstorm. Facility was clean, showers were not. Wasn’t busy at all.
Relaxing
Good spot
Good Overnight spot on I-70.
We spent a quick overnight here on our way down I-70. Small, clean enough bathrooms, small pool and playground for the kids, small dog park + 3 acre lot out back for the dogs to run. In Goodland, so you can easily stock up or grab some necessities from Walmart or hit a quick fast food dinner. Also, an 80 ft Monet replica nearby to take a picture at, because, well, why not?
Just what’s needed
If your trip takes you down I-70, there are not many camping spots between KC and the Rockies. This is a good stop-over, less than a mile off the interstate. The facilities are clean and well maintained, plus a pool and playground if you want. nice gardens out front.
Great Campground for
Great little campground. Stopped here on our way home from Colorado. The campground is nice and quiet. You can walk to a Dollar General to pick up a few things. Bathrooms were very clean, and the laundry was clean.

It's a KOA
Stopped at this KOA on our way to Colorado. Nice stopping spot to get out of the car. THe people were nice and the campsites were level. There is no privacy but as a stopping spot it had a lot of room for the kids to run.
Wonderful campground hosts - crazy weather!
Stayed at site 50. Nice grass site at this campground - very wide, very roomy. Accommodated a late / night-time check-in around 9 PM. Site was very convenient to showers and a nice store. Spoke with the owners in the AM and they were great and extremely nice - told us that they would accommodate anyone, any time - “pull in any time of the night, park where you can, set up, and talk to us in the morning.” Very exposed to the weather, though, and not much privacy. Saw the most incredible thunderstorm we’ve ever seen at this campground! Check out the video as part of this review - crazy lightning!
