Great campground
Very well kept safe supervision quiet clean facilities
Review of campground
Very well kept lightings good clean facilities population under control overall peaceful site
Michigan city campground
Grate campground. Clean ,neat, an the staff is great . Very helpful an will work with you on taking care of your camp site.
Close together
The sites are close together and the fire rings are small and without grill grids. The staff is helpful and the Pool full of children. Good for one or two nights.
Terrible
You DO NOT want to stay here. This place has a ton of year round residents. Very run down and shabby looking old trailers. The dump station is situated right by RV sights and the place smells like sewage. I asked about our camper fitting in the tiny spot we were given. The owner just basically shrugged. Because the sight was so not just unlevel but also slopes up our fifth wheel would not let us unhitch. We were also unable to fully open our slide. The office is run by two teen girls who told us we could not have a refund once we pay because“this has happened before and he wouldn’t give them their money back”. I asked to speak with him and was told he would come talk to us. He never did. The next day we went to the office and was told he would call us. He never did. Just unbelievable how poorly he treats customers.
Not my favorite, but not horrible
Pros - playground, pool, well kept grounds, helpful staff, gated/swipe card access, ponds, close to area attractions, decent campground WiFi, small fire ring, small dog park
Cons - tight spaces, BYO grill, bad showers, dirty/tight bathroom area
The mens room is just gross. Water in the stalls because showers don’t drain. Water in the shower never gets hot. Missing shower heads with pressure that almost tears your skin. Can barely squeeze into the tiny stall. Toilets are gross.
Great Campground
We used it as an over night stop right off of 94. It was perfect for that. It would also be perfect spot to stay longer if wanted to be in the area. Grounds were nice. Clean bathrooms, laundry, dog friendly, pool, office is friendly and has a store with game room. Nice dog park. We are in a 40ft with tow and did not need to unhook.
Getaway to the Windy City
We stayed at this campground last fall. It's easy access, clean spacious sites, and how quiet it was considering it proximity to S.R. 421 brought us back again this year. We visited Indiana Dunes National Park and State Park. Also jumped on the South Shoreline commuter train that took us into downtown Chicago for a day trip.
Great campground
We stayed in the off season in a site close to the laundry facility and office. Great campground for families. Our site was smaller however, no one was around us so it seemed bigger. They do have nice premium sites in the front. Loved that it is gated and and key card access after hours. Has a dog park and a playground for the kids.
Ex-KOA is fine.
We arrived late, they got us in, we left early. I paid more than I wanted but they’ve got a sweet deal with their proximity to the solidly booked national park. We arrived on July 5th, and the pool had just been shocked (good) so we couldn’t use it (bad), can’t speak to that.
We were in a VERY small site (as advertised) and folks were packed in stacked. When I enquired about the advertised (on their counter) late checkout, they didn’t have the availability to do that so I’m guessing you’ll want to book ahead.
Great getaway
Great getaway spot to go and relax away from home
Great campground!
This campground is great for families. They are gated. There is a fish pond, pool, and playground. Our kids LOVE this place and we love the security that it offers. Great, family run campground.
Clean. Nice amenities.
We stayed in a 90 ft premium pull through spot. Nice campground that is maintained. There is a pool, fishing pond, and playground for kids.
Decent Campground Close Enough to Many Activities
Decent campground. Pool, laundry, nice playground, ponds and basketball hoop. Less than 15 min to Indiana Dunes National Park.
Great campground, will return
This is a beautifully kept campground just outside Michigan City, IN. It is gated so will need to call in once you arrive to enter. We stayed in the premium sites which were 90ft pull thought with 50A service, water and sewer, and the best wifi I have seen at a campsite. The cement patio was large with a picnic table and an adjacent fire pit. There is swimming pool and a game room, and a small store with the essentials, and propane.
You are close to Indiana Dunes and the downtown area of Michigan city. Good food, shops are close by.
By the way there are a number of cabins/mini homes to rent.

Great Experience
The campground was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a short drive to Lake Michigan.
Very nice campground
Gated campground so not just anyone can come in, very clean and a nice pool
Glamping
great place for families ... pool, playground, clubhouse, store. Very close quarters camping. Friendly.
Great, secure, family friendly campground
Stayed here 2 nights in the group tent camping area. Plenty of space to spread out and good firepits. Love the secure entrance and key card access. Pool and bathrooms were clean, although the bathroom could use a slight update. The only complaint of the weekend of the garbage pickup at 11pm, very loud, and the fireworks being set off until after midnight (outside of the campground so out of campgrounds control). Will definitely be back if we are in the area!
