Easy Teton campground
Several first come first serve sights available on a Thursday in July. Very quiet campground. The cleanest hole in the ground toilets I’ve ever seen.
Nice and easy to get to
We came in on a Tuesday and there were plenty of sites available. I like the trees and nature and my husband likes the easy access and 5g. The restrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen.
Nice and clean
Nice clean restrooms and water spouts. Each site was clearly managed with nice tent pads and the host was very nice lady. Some big 40’ trailers came later and ran their generators which wasn’t ideal but what can ya do.
Great Stay!
Despite hole in the ground toilets, they were some of the most immaculately kept ones I’ve ever witnessed in my young life. Cinnamon is the last smell I expected to encounter. Check in was a little confusing, but you choose a site and pay at the front with an envelope. I’d recommend bringing cash, small bills for exact payment. Also have your bug spray ready because mosquitoes were large and abundant (not the campsites fault, of course). Very dark and quiet at night, with beautiful starry night view. Tent sites were $17/night, with $8 additional per each extra car. Great value!
Small and cozy
The lots have plenty of room. Bathrooms are clean.
Near Victor ID
Lean and quiet.
Super Nice Campground
Very nice campground that has central water and pit toilets. It is also located to many trails both biking and hiking.
Close to lots of trails
Only knock on this campground is the proximity to the highway, you can hear the traffic. Within walking distance of multiple trails. Campground host gave my reservation to someone else and gave me their crappy site, didn’t fight it since it was only one night.
Super Convenient, Very Clean
The sites are varied, some quite exposed (for RVs and large campers), and others more nestled into the trees. Picnic tables, bear vaults, and fire pits abound. The trash does appear to have two broken latches (bear-proof no more), and needs emptying, but overall the site is great, located just off highway 33. The site host, Ellen, is great. I bought some firewood from her and asked about campground rules, and learned a ton about what I need to know going into grizz country. From what I understand, some sites are reservable, and others are first-come first-served. Be aware of that if you try to reserve through Recreation.gov

Lovely for a Quick Overnight
Campground had plenty of space for tents and good tree cover for a hammock setup. Metal fire pit, outdoor grill, and bear box were all included at site. Pretty area and the campground host was really nice. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in the woods.
Expanded the Campground
The campground now has 27 sites (as of 2021). Most are first-come, first-serve and a few are reservable on recrecation.gov. The fee for all National parks has gone up in 2021 and this campsite is now $17/night, $8/night with the Senior Pass, and $8/night for an extra vehicle. All Food MUST be stored in a hard-sided camper or the provided Bear Boxes, there are both Grizzly and Black Bears in the area! It is close to numerous trailheads for hiking, biking, etc. Wonderful area and campground!

Nice campground near Teton Valley
A smaller quiet campground near the Teton Valley. This campground is pretty far from GTNP, but close to the activities on the other side. Avoid site #1, 2, 3 to get away from the highway noise.
Very nice camp host and all the basic amenities
Mostly Quiet, Very Clean, and a Friendly Host
We stopped here after striking out finding camping near the Tetons. To get back into Teton Park is probably an hour and a half drive from here. The park was quiet during quiet hours, many families but sites were spread out enough. The campground host was nice enough to give us an undeveloped site knowing there were no other options in the area. The pit toilets were also spotless - the cleanest I've ever seen. Great little spot - especially if you're headed in from east Idaho toward the tetons.
Great campsite
We stopped here for the night. Easy access to Hwy but thats also the downfall because you can hear it. 10+ new sites & toilets. Bear proof boxes for tenters. Nice fire rings. $12 a night, $6 with senior pass. Pretty level sites.

Great campground
They just added 10+ new sites and new toilets and we think we were the first to stay in this one. There were not very many people there on a Tuesday night. We have a senior pass so paid $6.00. I would have given it 5 stars but the only downfall was the highway was close enough we heard the traffic a lot but was also a plus because it was easy access.

Endless recreation close to town
Fantastic biking, hiking, and wildlife viewing just a few minutes from town amenities. Rough it all week, or head up the road to get a slice or just do laundry. Maybe even at the same time?
This is a great spot, only downside is the highway is fairly close. Chances are though you'll be so busy on the trails you won't even notice. Our campsite looked recently renovated; picnic table, bear box, and fire ring looked brand new. We hiked up towards Oliver peak on a clear day and could see for miles.

Peacefull
Has a small stream and lots of shaded areas
Nice spot right off the hwy
Quite little campground close to Jackson hole and several trails on the pass. You can reserve spots here or check out the dispersed camping just past the campground entrance. If you veer right after pulling off the hwy thereare several nice dispersed spots along a small creek. Dogs are welcome here!

Sweet little campground
I really enjoy using this campground as a base for all kinds of activities. There are beautiful wildflower hikes nearby (bring bear spray for hiking), numerous mountain biking opportunities, and easy and scenic drives on both sides of Teton Pass. The campground is close enough to Jackson, WY for a nice dinner out, and it's a good place to stay if attending a Targhee ski area music festival. The camp sites provide nice shade without being too wooded.
Easy Stop
I have to admit that I live within 5 miles of the Mike Harris Campground but for some reason i love it. It is an easy access campground for people who are touring around Yellowstone. What most don't know is that it offers access to some of the best Mtn Bike Trails in our area. Rush hour, Nemo, and Mail Cabin are all great rides. Rush Hour and Nemo are the best kids rides in the area besides Grand Targhee.
