National Forest
At an elevation of 2,080 ft., on the banks of the Tallulah River, this campground is a favorite. If you like hiking, the Coleman River Trail is there for you to enjoy the outdoors and nature. This river is routinely stocked with Rainbow Trout! There are 3 RV pull-throughs for your convenience.
Open year-round. 14 day maximum stay limit. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am daily, no generators allowed to operate during those hours and no more than 4 hours a day during non-quiet hours.

Reservations are not accepted. Occupancy of sites are on a first come first serve basis.

Directions
Take U.S. 76 west from Clayton for 8 miles; turn right (north) Persimmon Rd. (a paved county road) for 5 miles; turn left (northwest) on Forest Service Road 70 for 1 mile to Tallulah River (another 3 miles to reach Tate Branch and another 5 miles to Sandy Bottom).
