Cooper Creek Recreation Area is located along the banks of Cooper Creek in the North Georgia mountains. Campers can experience all types of recreation activites, including camping, hiking, trout fishing, and hunting. Directions

From Morganton, GA, take State Rt. 60 south for 15.6 miles to the Coopers Creek Recreation Area sign (Coopers Creek Rd.). Bear left onto Coopers Creek Rd. and go 6.5 miles to Coopers Creek Scenic Area sign (Forest Rt. 236). Turn right onto Rt. 236 and go 0.2 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
