Sweet spot but busy.

This is a great place set in the middle of Florida's marshland. Park like with plenty of trees, grass and water canals. The tent sites are close together so there's not much privacy. Bathrooms, hot showers and laundry. First come first served. Grab it early. $22 per night on 3/18/2023.

Would come back!

It’s so beautiful and quiet here. There’s a hookup for water, waste and electricity. The Wi-Fi isn’t great, but that’s ok. It’s not really necessary because you’re too busy enjoying the nature around you! Super easy to check in as well.

Savannah recreation area

A quie park with well kept sites, plenty of bird sighting, walking trails, close to svenic A1A, and a number of restaurants and shopping, nestled in between quaint towns with plenty of things to do. Loved the botanical gardens. Would return, and stay longer!

Beautiful Vistas

Very clean, dog friendly and spacious site. Paved walking path. Lots of birds & gaters. The staff is very friendly. Free bike rental & kayaks were $5 per hour.

Watch out for the Gators

We loved this place. Celebrated my sister’s 65 birthday here. Spent 10 nights. Enjoyed the wildlife. We will be back and hope to stay longer.

Savanna’s Recreation Area, Count Park

Convenient to visit family. I would not come to this park otherwise. We love State, Federal and COE parks where you feel more in touch with nature and not so close together. WARNING!!! Please be careful walking your dog. Alligators are in the park where people seem to not notice. We educated people when we were there. They thought that just because they were not on the water side of the campground they would not see alligators.
