Beautiful beach stay but could use some improvements

Pros: -Right on the water, 1 minute walk to the beach. We could see the water from our site A1 -quiet and remote area with fewer people than surrounding 30A areas -close to Cape San Blas and Port St Joe to explore -clean bathrooms and showers

Cons:

our site was difficult to back into down a small hill and not very level.
there are large trees and they could do some branch trimming. Our rig is 32 feet and was rubbing on branches when trying to exit.

Remote and quaint

Somewhat isolated, but Saint Joe is not far away. Everything you need is pretty much on site. Great place for kayaking, surf fishing, and there’s a boat ramp right next-door. Beautiful scenery, and well almost always full, it’s not a large campground, and you have some privacy. 3 miles down. The road is a nice oyster bar. The camp office sells frozen bait. Verizon service is excellent.

Waterfront

At the end of of the end of the road, beautiful waterfront location with sand beach. Our site (a4) was not the best but the campground is nice. Not first class amenities, but overall ok.

Love this place

Lots of personality and most fellow campers you meet are great. Gravel sites mostly level. Water and sewer hookups. Shower house and laundry. Ice available but no camp store. Just steps to the beach on the shuttle to St. Vincent Island for a day of shelling or fishing. 9 miles of beach to walk or ride your bike.

If you love nature this is your place !

We’ve been coming to Indian Pass and the area for twenty years and although there has been some areas of overdevelopment, this campground still has the old Florida feel. Friendly staff, beautiful sites right on the water, stunning sunsets and wilderness all around you!

Rustic Little Campground in Natural Setting

Beautiful setting on the tip of a peninsula admidst wildlife, salt water marshes, a bay on one side and the gulf on the other. Access to the ferry to St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge is within camground.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Decent campground, especially if you like to fish. Booked our water site months in advanced. Boat ramp near campground entrance. We kayaked the inlet to St Vincent Island. Get lunch at Indian Pass Raw Bar.

Loved it

Loved it here. Most sites were in view of the water. Lady in the office was nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Seems to be a pretty laid back place. Boat ramp beside camp. Just don’t let the biting flies carry you away.

Great location - SMALL Sites!

Stayed at Indian Pass for fives nights in April of 2022 at Site C10. I’ll list the positives first.

This is the quietest campground we have every stayed at with a beautiful view from almost every single site. It’s very isolated and perfect for couples who don’t need a lot of “stuff”. Now for the not so positive stuff. We have a 33 foot 5th Wheel and when we made the reservations we were assured our 5th wheel would fit. It did but just barely and not without a whole lot of jockeying to get it into the site where we could pull out all three slides - but not the awnings. Just not enough room. C10 backs directly to the bay and the breeze is wonderful. The campground is a bit long in the tooth but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bathhouse is adequate but the cleaning schedule is not adhered to and both times I attempted to take a shower I had to wait an hour because they still weren’t done. Final note, they claim to be directly across from the world famous Indian Pass Raw Bar - they are actually 2.9 miles from them so don’t expect a leisurely walk down to the bar for dinner and then back. All in all we would probably not stay here again simply because the sites are too small and the campground is too isolated for our tastes.

Great location

We tent camped and brought our boat. If you love snorkling check out TH Stone Park. It is a protected bay with clear water. Lots of sealife to explore. Fishing is excellent all around this area.

Beautiful secluded camping

Loved this oasis outside of Port St. Joe! Tent camping limited but the 5 tent sites are ON THE WATER and the fishing is spectacular!

Peaceful

From the main road it’s not what you’d expect. Once inside this jewel of a campground you will be like everyone else. This is awesome. The setting, sites and all around feel if this place is just what we like. Spacious, privacy but friendly campers. Level, awesome views and a stones throw to the beach.

Great atmosphere

From the main road it’s hard to see what a cute jewel of a campground this is. Level, gravel, water and electric. Pump service available or a dump station is available. Interior sites are 40.00 and water view are 50.00 per night.

Unpretentious “Old Florida”

We went for two days, stayed 3. The sites feel very private, lots of vegetation, water views. The campground is old but clean. The manager gets 5⭐️ in my opinion. No Wi-Fi or cell. ( I did have intermittent 1 bar t-mobile). The beach is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

No frills old Florida

We got there late and woke up the next morning to a view of the water. Stayed a week. Met some great people, rented a golf cart and explored the beach. We loved it!

great secluded spot

Small wooded campground on the beach

Lots of regular campers that seem to know eachother, all very friendly and chatty. Lots of very squirrels, they beg for food (so cute). The beach is just a few steps away. Bathrooms, laundry, a general store about 3 miles away and a wonderful little town (St. Joe) about 10 miles away. Loved it here, will definitely come back.

A somewhat funky campground

Not particularly tidy but friendly and right on the beach. Lots of beautiful birds and even dophins. We stayed only one night but would certainly come back.

Really enjoyed this place

Very nice and quiet place. Easy access and views of Gulf and sound. Not touristy. 4 bars 5G coverage of AT&T. They do offer 30 and 50 amp service. Reasonable priced wood delivered by local business.

The Forgotten Coast

They call it the "Forgotten Coast", I sure hope it stays that way for a while. It was the most peaceful place on the beach we have ever stayed! Takes me back to the days of camping as a kid. Small campground but you do not feel crowded. Quirky sites scattered through the trees and steps from the beach. Great beaches that are dog friendly. Reservation, They dont know the meaning of the word

A reservation means nothing. No matter how long you have booked in advance be prepared to have your trip canceled by management so the snowbirds can stay as long as they want. Of course management used the Corona excuse, but still allowed people to stay all winter.

Funky campground

We had a bit of weather to deal with on our first night but it only got better from there. Our tent site was right on the water and was great for putting our small boat out when we wanted. The bathhouse is clean and the water hot. The views are spectacular.

The only negative is there’s no septic, so you have to have your black/gray water pumped, but even that’s not worth a rating deduction.

Relaxed camping on the beach

Great campground with lots of spots right on the beach. Some spots have messed up power hookup points, so be sure to inquire on check in. Bathhouse is simple, clean and uncrowded.

The Best Camping Ever!

Small fishing camp atmosphere. Dog friendly. Kayak in the bay. Catching fish from the shore. Friendly staff. Store not stocked. No sewer hookups. Utility hookups may be on the wrong side so bring an extra long cable. And a waste wagon if you're staying for more than a few days, although the mgt will empty your tank for fee. Charter fishing within walking distance. Miles of beautiful beach with few people. Love, love. Love this place. St.. Vincent Island charter within walking distance. Bring your bike.

Quiet waterfront campground

We loved this campground! It’s a bit crowded but there’s plenty of opportunity to stretch your legs being that it’s steps away from the beach. They are also extremely dog friendly which is a huge plus for us because our pup loves to swim. No playground but there’s a park along the beach nearby in Port St Joe. There’s also a popular restaurant right around the corner that has live music and seafood. Great place to relax without a crowd! We will definitely be back!

Bayside views, rustic, inexpensive

Crowded sites, but it’s right on the beach. Watch the tidal current when paddling/boating. Bugs may be gnarly. Amenable staff. Dog friendly for leashed pups.
