Family-owned RV park
General: RV sites with water and electric hookups plus tent sites and what looked like a cabin located along Route 101 in northern California not too far from the Oregon border. Although located right on the highway, the RV sites are tucked far enough back that road noise is not an issue. We had our choice of assigned site (13) or one of the few other available sites. We ended up taking Site 19, one of the other choices so that our van door would not open directly into the slide out of the RV in the next site.
Site Quality: Sites are on grass with no defined camper pads. Sites 15-21 are a little wonky in that the hookups are on the left side; we were able to thread our electric cord underneath our van to reach them. Most but not all sites had picnic tables (ours did not but we were just passing through for one night so not a big deal). As is typical of RV parks, sites are close together with little to no separation between them. We chose Site 19 because it had trees on one side, providing us with partial privacy.
Bath/Shower House: Two stalls and two showers – both were very clean but did not use the shower so cannot comment on how well it worked.
Activities/Amenities: Laundry (main reason in addition to the convenient location we booked this RV park). You reserve a time and then get the key from the office. There is an 18-hole mini golf course, but it looked quite worn so we passed. There are horseshoe pits and a swing set. There is also a small store with gifts and other basic sundries.
Patrick and Maya are new owners since April 2023, and we were greeted very warmly by Patrick. Later while doing laundry, I had a nice conversation with Maya. They live on-site with their two young children and the store/office is open 9 am– 9 pm. Honestly, this is why I gave this place 4 stars. This was a good overnight stay for us and worked well for us to catch up on laundry while at our campsite.

Nicest owners!!!
Great spot if you want to visit the ancient Redwoods. You can not beat the hospitality of Patrick and Maya. They are new owners and already doing an incredible job. Extreme friendly and helpful. It was a great spot to see the north side and the south side of the redwoods.
Cell service was bad for ATNT AND GOOGLE FI. they had free wifi and it was hit or miss. Sometimes it worked great and sometimes not so well, but they warned us upfront that it would be the case.
They got their coffee machine up and running and have pastries shipped from LA. We were their second customers. It is also a rock and a skip away from Trees of Mystery.
Also, level spots, extremely clean and hot showers. They are cleaned daily and they also have laundry and mini golf. Highly recommend staying with them!

Excellent Place to camp!
This was a great RV park/ tent campsite. The tent sites were close together, but it was in a great location to all of the fun things to do in the area! There was a game room, mini golf course, laundry, showers and bathrooms… and the new owners were SO wonderful. Highly recommend this site to everyone.
Lovely Quiet Campground
I stayed here as a female solo traveler and felt very safe. The property is under new ownership, but the family taking over is very sweet, hospitable and very willing to offer up their favorite trails/spots around the area. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, I took multiple warm showers, and their laundry facilities work well. They have Wi-Fi, which can be iffy at times but is very much appreciated and generally does the job.
Hidden gem
This camp ground was clean , quite and beautiful We had spot #7 and it was tucked in some redwood The owners were friendly and helpful Had maos to several spots near by to check out Would definitely book here again

Quaint little campground
Quiet little privately owned campground .
A little run down, but that gave it a feel of the past! Also had a mini golf. Very friendly owners. It was for sale, so may change in future.
Had very nice laundry facilities.
Awesome Park...great staff
Our site was large, quiet/secluded, and near the access to the .5 mile hike path within the park. The park is nearby all the access points for the different Redwood must-see sights. The best thing about this park is the owners. They were uber friendly and was very kind to provide a (hand drawn but very accurate) map. They took the time to speak re the different areas we should explore specifically for our kids. We were able to hit all of the sights during our stay thanks to their map and guidance. We would def stay here again

In the giants
Cute little camp ground. We were able to grab a spot on our way down to Big Sur with no reservation. Took a site that was set back and had a cute tree on it the you could walk through. Owners were nice and we could have a fire. The sites are right on top of each other, so if you are looking for privacy, not the spot for you.
Hidden gem in the Coastal Redwoods
Beautiful RV park nestled in the California redwoods. 1 mile away from Trees of Mystery. Full hook ups for Rv's, tent camping area as well. The family won't get bored here! They have hiking trails, horseshoes and an adorable little 18 hole mini golf course to boot! Just a mile down the road is Trees of Mystery, a few miles the other direction is a casino, jet boat rides up the Klamath River , scenic drives abound including an elk reserve, and it's approximately 25 minutes to the coast. Wonderful little general store and the nicest couple who run the park.
